Detroit is becoming a ghost town for other reasons as well. Urban deterioration is also the fault of the residents. Many large cities have vibrant downtown areas. Did you know one of the safest cities in America is New York City?<quoted text>Detroit is already becoming a ghost town (destroyed by bad govt).
Some cities are now privatizing as many services as they can. The Chicago skyway/tollway is now run by a private company. Parking meters are policed by private company (police are still writing paking tickets at this time, but).
Chicago has their own garbage trucks, but suburbs don't. Some prisons are already privatized.
The police have become our enemies (criminals). They believe we can't exist without them. In New Orleans, hundreds of murders go unsolved, regularly.
After Katrina, the New Orleans pigs confiscated weapons and forced people to vacate their homes. The pigs victimized innocent people, and made them more vulnerable. Tragedy on top of tragedy. Govt is always our worst enemy.
When pigs are killed, they deserve what they get. They've become our worst enemy (worse than a common thug). The victims know.
Privatization of government services is a relatively new concept. The city I recently moved from has a privatized government. Sandy Springs, GA has been very successful as a result of privatization.
Thats not always the case. Atlanta attempted to privatize water service. That didnt work out so well.
You blame police for unsolved murders now? If youre so smart solve one of those murders. Sometimes theres simply not enough evidence to locate the murderer. Did you ever consider that?
