This might be a bit off topic, but two posts here are reviewing state events for the "decade." Sorry, but the new decade begins on January 1, 2011. The old one has a year to go. The millenium began on January 1, 2001.

Well depending on who you believe the millennium ends/starts in 2012. But yes, I agree that the new decade doesn't start until 2011.
