Well it should be a no brainer now.. Where is that money going to go??? Good freakn lord! talking about cutting police and fire and you want to spend 200K on admin BS... Critical my left foot. Mayor Bartlett you are spineless to make such comments about these fund pending lay-offs and pay cutts! Tulsa needs the money alright but not to update something people are to lazy figure out without throwing money at it.. You folks running this city every hear of quality assurance, LEAN, 6S, continuous quality improvement. Your waiting till its broke to fix it and all along you knew it was going to break! Now you, the City Admin.. City counsel whom by GOD won't take a pay cutt cuz it would take away your fun money for Dave N Busters or some crap. You are sacraficing your own citizens. Citizens of Tulsa you need to make sure you own a firearm and a fire extinguisher!

Oh my, I have heard it all now..........This is the most corrupt city I have ever had the joy of living and being raised in! So your going to talk about laying off cops and firefighters and grounding the police helicopter? Yet your going to most likely get this big chunk of money! I am truely sickened! At this time I am ashamed to say I am from this city! Shame on you all....P.S. Dewey you need to get off of your harley for the toy run and work on this city that is being drilled into the ground!

It would be nice if the city could find a way to keep a few more cops on the street with some of this money.

You can't count on money you don't have yet, it doesn't appear this has salaries included in it.
If you don't like the way things are being done, why not run for mayor next time? I suspect you will find that it is much much harder than you think.

You know this is what the city needs. But it make you think how much are they going to pay back in the future? Well yes thank you Mayor Bartlet we need Public safety and that is a good way to nip it in the bud and move on with better things while Tulsa is under your watch. Thank you Mayor

it's past time we clean out City Hall !!!

We finally decided to accept the Grant to hire more police officers . Then LAID OFF seasoned officers . but wait ....... we can use the grant money to re-hire most of them ... no the budget still isn't working ... we have to lay off police officers after all . sounds like more than were laid off the first time

Question : doesn't this violate the terms of accepting the grant ???

When public safety and good streets become a guaranteed priority ,then the city will grow and prosper again

I think all the people that are moving to Tulsa to fight downtown traffic to attend concerts and baseball games have already moved in .

It's time to vote out the blue bloods and try to get some honest people in office
