Yes, Global Warming Could Mean MORE Snow

There are 32 comments on the Fairfield Citizen-News story from Mar 30, 2010, titled Yes, Global Warming Could Mean MORE Snow. In it, Fairfield Citizen-News reports that:

Here's a recent headline that caused a few double takes in Washington: "Global Warming Hearing Postponed Because of Snow." Yes, nothing gives an unearned boost to global warming skeptics like back-to-back snowstorms variously nicknamed "snow-pocalypse" and "snow-mageddon," among other less-charitable labels in the nation's capital.

I like greenhouse gas, I want more CO2 in the air, we should test theory instead of believing wise politicians will lead our climate future. Climate change mitigation is a hoax, in science we do experimental tests before we try intervention plots.

(Sung to the tune of 'Darling Clementine'):
Global Warming Global Warming oh it makes Al so much dough,
Global Warming Global Warming it makes such a Nobel show.
If it's hotter if it's dryer if it's colder with more snow,
We can all blame Global Warming and then Al can make more dough.
Howzat?????

Oops, not this kind of Bikini. Bikini as in 15 megatons going off. That's why the 2-piece bathing suit has that name - it was considered a huge event on the fashion scene. The 2-piece came out about the same time as our series of thermonuclear tests at said Bikini Atoll. That's also where the concept of the Thermos bottle came from. They had to keep the liquid deuterium cold in a tropical climate. So it was nested inside several successively colder containers. Ok, history lesson over. :-)

"EDITORIAL: Global warming's unscientific method"

"The prophets of global warming continue to lament as their carefully crafted yarn unravels before their eyes. Ross McKitrick, an intrepid economics professor from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, has tugged apart the thin mathematical threads that once held together the story of climate change.

Recent attempts to silence Mr. McKitrick illuminate the extent to which the alarmists have abandoned proper scientific method in their pursuit of political goals.

Mr. McKitrick has spent the past two years attempting to publish a scientific paper that documents a fundamental error in the 2007 United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report. This U.N. document serves as the sole authority upon which the Environmental Protection Agency based its December "endangerment finding" that will allow unelected bureaucrats to impose cap-and-trade-style regulations without a vote of Congress. The cost to the public in higher gas and energy prices will run in the billions.

One might think that the scientific community would be extra diligent in double-checking the conclusions of a report carrying such weighty real-world consequences. In fact, the opposite happened. Seven scientific journals circled the wagons to block publication of Mr. McKitrick's explosive findings.

The Thermos company started manufacturing vacuum flasks in 1904, it was invented by Sir James Dewar in 1892.
Skimpy two piece bathing suits have been around since the 4th century, but you're right that they were named Bikinis in 1946.

We'll just have to continue organizing the resistance to Obama and tell the bureocrats in Washington to go F**k themselves.

The people hold the keys to power in our hands.

We can undo at the ballotbox any damage that Obama and Pelosi are able to inflict upon us.

If you want to mitigate climate change, as a private individual, that's cool. If you are elected to office and you seek to expand power by voting yourself a climate steward, you are out of your mind. When we catch you, we will kick you out of office. Anyone more concerned with climate change than a balanced budget needs to be impeached.
