The awful truth is that Inhofe is nuts. I don't mean just a little bit wacky or
balmy, dippy, dopey, jerky, sappy, or eccentric, I mean really truly insane like an outhouse rat or a serial killer with zero compunctions. He's worse than immoral, he's Amoral. A dangerous addition to the gene pool and should be treated like a rabid raccoon who has bitten your puppy dog. The man is one of the major reasons Oklahoma is (rightly) perceived as being a community of knuckledragging, drooling morons.

Inhofe just furthers the belief to the rest of the country and probably the world that Oklahoma is one backwards place full of peope who are ignorant. And our state also being linked to Coburn makes us appear even more ignorant.
Geez people, quit letting him buy your votes- or please wake up, look around and get a CLUE and stop these two bozos before they do even MORE harm.

I am sorry but I don't think Inhofe is nuts. He is smart, and he spread intelligent lies to receive big bucks from Exxon and Texaco. Ignorant people fall for his factoids, but I also think they are to blame. A little investigation on credible sources quickly debunks any of his unscientific claims.

The world has been on a warming trend for the past 15,000 years---wake up, people----greenhouse gases cannot be blamed for this interstacial period (the geologist at TU knows this). Inhofe has the right idea and the previous posters are followers, not leaders...look into it for yourself and see how many scientists worldwide disagree with the whole "global warming" issue, a fact largely ignored by the media - there is NOT enough data to prove we are in a "rapidly warming world" on a level that has "never happened before"....with records going back only a hundred years or so, NOBODY can say this is unpredecented warming...look at the fossil record! Quit being followers of the media, people, and use your brains.

I was surprised to see Scafetta 2006 AGU paper mentioned in Inhofe's blog. He somehow manages to quote them to support the factoid that CO2 doesn't influence climate, when the authors specifically concede in their paper that most of the 1980-2000 global warming was man-made. Look it up.

All the people in our state gov are bought & paid for by the oil and gas companies. For him to say it will cost to much to lower pollution is a slap to all our faces. Between the mega churches and the oil and gas companies our states future is dismal at best.

Well, nuts and smart aren't mutually exclusive. A smart guy can be truly evil and truly crazy at the same time. He actually fills all 3 of those niches. The scary thing is that this guy and Tom Coburn being elected from the same state makes us all look like goofballs.
Grrr.

The Climate has been warming and cooling since the beginning, and man has nothing to do with it.

Not only that, but the laughably arrogant, self-important Warmists can't stop the earth from undergoing those warming and cooling cycles.

Ok so say it is all a hoax...whats the motive? To fight a battle to make people not pollute? Come on that is just silly. Sage advice.."follow the money" ..the only ones saying climate change is not an issue now, are the ones who stand to lose money if things change. The planet can only stay out of balance for so long before it self corrects, the question is how many of us can survive that? Inhofe says we would lose jobs ...how is that even possible? If we begin to create an entire new infrastructure, people have to build it. The jobs will change from oil & such to others but that does not mean a net loss as he implies. WTT 1 senator pst plz :)

I'm thankfull for the oil companies because traveling by horse and buggy is very slow, messy and expensive.

Inhofe is applying common sense to the Killer CO2 hoax which will save millions of American jobs and the high standard of living Americans have gotten used to.

I will pay you $10,000 to sit in a room containing 96% CO2 for 15 minutes and survive. Are you willing to put your lungs where your mouth is?

Well crap, it's SIX thousand!!! Ole Bishop Usher doped it all out, the universe was 'created'(by, apparently something not IN the universe...a neat trick) on Saturday, October 19, 4004 BC. Or sometime around then. The story always reminds me of a guy trying to sell a coin stamped
"44 B.C."

(I REALLY need one of those eye-rolling smilies here)

And there lies the basis of the discussion: Who stands to gain if global "warming" (climate change) is a pack of lies? The people who want to preserve the environment for their heirs and children?...Nooooo......who gains is the corporation who can rape and pillage finite resources without respect to what their actions might do to near-future profits. That is their ONLY concern.

I won't do that any more that you would put your finger in a light socket that is powered by clean non-carbon alternative energy from the sun.

Nor would either of us tie an anchor around our waist and jump into the ocean either.

Or at least I would not do it.

Please say you are shidding us. Gotta be that, nobody could possibly be that fookin' stupid on purpose...
But on the slim chance you're serious, would you let us know when you think the "beginning" was?
Of course people can "be that fookin' stupid." You Warmists prove it every day.

No, I don't know when the "beginning" was, but given your God complex, I suspect you think you do.
