Fighting is good when the establishment party puts up a bad candidate and the wiser step in to offer a better choice.

We were stuck with Idiot Obama & McCain in the general election even though 1000's are more qualified and would have made much better Presidents than the buffoon we have now and his predecessor.

Hoffman doesn't even live in the district and has NO clue about relative issues. THIS is the preview of the self-destruction that is coming for the GOPosaurs. The conservative vote will be split which allows the Dems to win in districts they've never have a shot at normally.

In this case there hasn't been a Dem elected from the 23rd district since the Civil War.

The US is a defacto one party state. No matter who wins, they serve the 'bankers'.

Conservative Hoffman leads both the RINO Republican and the liberal Democrat in some polls.

You say Hoffman is splitting the vote but it looks like the liberal Republican Scozzafava is the spoiler who should drop out of the race for the good of the party.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

We are cleansing the GOP and making it stronger than ever.

If Hoffman wins that seat the Dems are in deep doodoo.

Just how would the Dems be in "deep doodoo"? Because the Dems lost a seat that has been republican since the civil war? If anything, it means the GOP can't even elect republicans anymore.

Whether or not Hoffman wins, he will have suceeded in splitting the GOP in half (gingrich republicans versus Palin republicans). While it may ultimately result in a "better" party, it means at least a decade of civil war and losing national elections.

Remember Ross Perot.......

And the half liberals fear most are the Palin Republicans.

Nobody is afraid of the Palin repubes, because the vast majority of American will reject their whacko religious agenda to turn America into a theocracy. Kinda like they rejected Palin in 2008!

End result of a split in the GOP = more Dems elected in 2010 & 2012. Sounds great to me.

Let's see, New Hampshire senate seat will flip from GOP to Dem in 2010, along with possibly David "i luv prostitutes" Vitter's seat in Lousiana; not to mention South Dakota, Kentucky, Florida, Ohio, & Missouri are all in play. The Dems could end up with 65 seats in the senate. Ahhhh, good times....

I think you may be surprised at how well Palin connects with Americans.

She was only a laughing stock in the suckass pro-Obama media.

But they hate anyone who threatens his political position.

Palin connects with the people who actually go to the polls and vote.

Oh yeah, she really connected in '08. How did that work out for McCain?? Maybe if she stayed home (where she can keep an eye on Russia) and paid more attention to her family, she wouldn't have a slutty unwed daughter & bastard grandchild.

I only hope Palin is the GOPosaur's nominee is 2012. That would be the best gift Obama could ask for.

She improved McCain's numbers.

He was done in by the economic panic and his own mushy-moderate persona.

Right, his loss had NOTHING to do with the fact the American people were tired of the same old answers from the GOP.

I'll say it again, PLEASE vote for Palin in the repube primary in 2012.

"I'll say it again, PLEASE vote for Palin in the repube primary in 2012."

I'll vote for the best person.

Palin does not have to be president to support conservatism.

But she might earn my vote if she continues to beat the other Republican contenders as a leader.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Scorpio

Your thoughts turn to the past today, putting you in a nostalgic mood. You're awash with sentimental tears as you dwell on days gone by or gaze at photos of people you'll never see again. However, try not to let this mood of reminiscence turn into a tendency to feel sorry for yourself and therefore to demand special treatment from others.
