Call Rush names, fat, druggie, etc. then disprove his statement. The community organizer who served in his senate seat a few months before running for president. That is as good as nothing. He is and remains a media created celebrity with no skills, background or experiance for this position which is why he has faired so poorly. His yes men have created a crippling arrogance that is unable to see past his own nose, hubris that over takes reason. Obama has stumbled badly and is not in the least in touch with common America. He will not be elected to a second term.

"A day after Republican state Assemblywoman Dierdre Scozzafava abruptly suspended her campaign for a New York congressional seat, she announced Sunday she's endorsing the Democrat in the race — not the Conservative Party candidate favored by fellow Republicans. Scozzafava said Democrat Bill Owens would be better at building on the legacy of Republican John McHugh, who previously represented the 23rd Congressional District. McHugh vacated the seat after accepting a position in the Obama administration as secretary of the Army. Big-name Republicans including Sarah Palin and former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson threw their support behind conservative Doug Hoffman."

Imagine our surprise. Planned Parenthood's darling Scozzafava, fast fading out of the picture, endorses one of her own when she scuttles her bogus candidacy.

It is not a matter if you like Limbaugh or not, however it is a matter of concern of what Obama has brought to the American people which has been a dismal nothing, although he does have at his command his golden tongue which will undoubtedly convince naïve people that he his fulfilling all of his campaign promises. The political environment being created in this country is destroying America as we knew it.

It's rather easy for Limbaugh to lob insults considering that HE doesn't have the job of trying to clean up the mess that the Bush administration created.

What are Rusty's solutions?

Limbaugh is just a radio entertainer, he doesn't have any serious solutions or answers. Why newspapers feel they should print his comments, I'll never understand.

It wasn't just Bush's mess. CLinton, Biden, Obama, Kerry, Kennedy, Reid ect. were all in the Senate. Princess Polosi was already Speaker of the House.

In a matter of months his speeches are now becoming repetitive and old hat. Simple truth is, he has had a hand in economic policy since Oct 2008 and after a year, this IS now the Obama economy. Obama also ignores the hand Democrats played in our current economic mess.
.
I was watching him speak in New Jersey, looking at that hand selected crowd sitting behind him, you see how uncritical his followers are. Maybe they all went to the school that taught kids to say "Barack Obama... mmmm...mmmm...mmmm".

"Lobbed pot shots?"

Heh. I've heard of people lobbing grenades or taking pot shots, but I've never heard of anyone lobbing pot shots.

I think everybody to some degree either sees that pbo is in over his head, or worries that might be the case--even the lefties see things aren't going quite as they had anticipated. Doesn't take talk radio to state the obvious.

Doesn't Obama's addiction to nicotine make him a drug addict?

Be careful not to give the ad hominem arguments legitimacy by engaging on them. This is all about obamas failures and inadequacy, and once you start arguing about whether to kill the messenger, the spotlight is off the failing guy.

Obama has admitted to using illegal drugs in the past, but I suggest its his failures as president that are of most interest now.

My wife sent me a great quote. It may be among the most true statements I have ever heard.

"As an American, I am not so shocked that Obama was given the Nobel Peace Prize without any accomplishments, but that America gave him the White House based on these same credentials."

agreed. was not obama part of the democrat majority congress that served for two full years before he was elected, and two more years prior to that. why is this mess not part of his own? perhaps he could have contributed to that congress if he were not cmapaigning the whole time. and your damned right we the people have the right to tell him how he is mopping if it is not correct or beneficial!!!

I wouldn't put nicotine or caffeine addictions on the same level as oxy cotton or other pain killer addiction. I guess the big issue I have is how long ago Limbaugh sought treatment for his addiction and that he is still being called an addict. Is he still taking drugs, or it this a baseless attack?

Grammar isn't Obama's advisors' strong suit, either.

"David Axelrod, Obama's chief political strategist, said,'We'll let Mr. Limbaugh foment'."

That's a transitive verb, David; it takes an object. Somebody foments something.[He probably was searching for *fulminate*, which is what a lot of libs are doing every time Limbaugh opens his mouth.] Come to think of it, Limbaugh certainly is fomenting a lot of petulant whining in liberal circles. And to think Rahm & Company dubbed him the head of the Republican Party just a few months ago.

Correct me if I am wrong. Was Rush's addiction a result of his ear problems? I thought he was taking meds for the pain and became addicted. He then proceeded to brake the law at that point.
If my recollection is correct then calling him a drug addict is an attempt by his detractors at comparing him to heroine or cocaine users. A faulty comparison at best.
Should he pay for crimes he may have comitted? Of course! But the comparison made by some seems to be lacking in critical thought.

When you're handed a $13 trillion debt, a recession which was p;redicted in 2007 to extend through 2011 and fewer jobs with foreclosrues and bank failures, and federal dollars propping up the rich with NO money spent in 8 years on infrastructure, police, protecting our borders from drug gangs, etc, it aint' YOUR economy you're fixing, it's Busb's who gave us all this. So, if you voted for Bush, you should be ashamed.
