Romney was for the War in Vietnam he just refused to fight in it.

Romney, coward, is a four-time draft dodger.

Ann Misogynist PumpkinHead Romney says that 2 years of fake missionary work in Paris is EXACTLY the same as fighting in Vietnam.

Romney says that tithing to the Mormon fake church is EXACTLY the same as paying taxes to the US for the upkeep of the USA.

These people are the worst subhuman knuckle dragging filth on the planet.

As a registered Democrat I will be voting for Romney. I just cannot see another 4 years with President Obama and the whole Benghazi incident and lack of information has ****** me off. He said that President Barack Obama wouldn't even look him in the eye and that Vice President Joe Biden was disrespectful during the ceremony when his son's body returned to America. He also said that the White House's story on the attack doesn't pass the smell test. Why is this not reported on?
Good question, Canton! The answer is that the media is owned by the Democrats, as is Hollywood and the educational academy at all levels. Think about it: besides parents, these are the 3 channels thru which young people get information. And the messages are all about what liberals espouse.

For real insight into the liberal lean, I'd suggest you read "Bias" by Bernard Goldberg. He was a Dan Rather insider until he went rogue and wrote about biased reporting in a Wall Street Journal article. Considered disloyal, he was shunned then fired.

Goldberg took it as a challenge and began to do research on the subject. He found, for example, that during the GHW Bush administration, there were 100s of evening news reports on the subject of homelessness. The insinuation was that Bush didn't care. Clinton was elected, and suddenly the subject disappeared. Did he fix the problem 2 weeks into office? No, he just seemed to "care." Hmmmm...

So look at Bush 2. Do you remember the daily US soldier death toll on the evening news channels? Recall that Obama chose to ramp up the war in Afghanistan. Have you seen even one report on the death toll there?

Ask yourself this: if Bush or ANY republican were in office, do you think Benghazi would be getting reported? Remember what a big deal the press made of Bush2s drunk driving arrest? Barry broke the law!!! multiple times as a dope smoker. Why the news blackout.

You see my friend, the Democrat party is an affiliation of interest groups without a compass. It's a big tent because there is no right or wrong, there are simply more votes to snare on an implied promise of some kind of reward. That might be more union-friendly rules like check box affiliation. Or it might be gay marriage. Or it might be free health care or immigration amnesty.

Ultimately there is a price tag, either in $ or prestige or moral standing in all these things. Where is the objective analysis by the media? It ceased to exist when Walter Cronkite signed off. Bread and circuses for all in an Obama second term. Lets hope your one enlightened vote prevents that!

Florida: Another Major Newspaper Abandons Obama, Polls Show Romney Up

Posted on October 28, 2012

Last weekend, it was the Orlando Sentinel reversing its 2008 course by endorsing Mitt Romney for president. Now the South Florida Sun-Sentinel is turning heads by following suit:

"Many are holding on by their fingernails, desperate for signs of an economic recovery that will help them provide for themselves, their employees, their customers and their communities. When President Obama came into office in 2009, the economy was in freefall and though untested, he inspired us with his promise of hope and change. Now, four years later, we have little reason to believe he can turn things around. So while we endorsed Obama in 2008, we recommend voters choose Republican Mitt Romney on Nov. 6."

ROMNEY CLOSES IN MINNESOTA

To be fair, Minnesota wasn't really part of Obama's firewall for his reelection hopes. It was more of a redoubt. It was state, like California or Illinois, which would absolutely support Obama's reelection. That we are even discussing the possible vote in MN, just a little over a week before the election, is a flashing sign of the troubles plaguing Obama's campaign.

Last month, the newspaper's poll showed Obama with an 8-point lead. But that 5-point drop in support isn't the worst news for Obama in the poll. The number of voters identifying themselves as Republican has surged. In last month's poll, Democrats had a 13-point edge in the sample, 41-28. Today's poll, however, only gives them a 5-point edge, 38-33. An 8-point swing in one month is extraordinary.

I noted a while back that the best indicator of the state of the race in the final days was to see which states were becoming competitive. When a candidate's "safe" states suddenly look more competitive, that candidate is in trouble. If your opponent's "safe" states are more competitive, then you are gathering momentum.

Ditto.
I'm a Democrat who had pretty much already decided I can't vote D this time around, though it was a struggle to admit it to myself.
But Friday night, we were meeting friends to go out for dinner, and when we got to their house, they were watching the report about Tyrone Woods and his father was talking.
I got so angry that I started yelling at my husband and our two friends...especially when they said Obama had stated in an interview that he didn't know what was going on in Libya until after it was over.
There's no way in hell that he wasn't informed as it was happening, and I am sick to death of this President and adminstration lying to us as though we're a country full of ignorant, uninformed children.
God Bless Tyrone Woods and the other SEALS who went in there against orders to stand down.
And you ask a very good question: Why aren't all the news outlets all over this? They would be running it 24/7 if it was Bush.
This incident has cemented it. I'm voting Romney and I will do so without an ounce of regret. Some things are more important than party affiliation.

I've heard in another interview that one of the mother's of the NAVY Seals was impressed so much with Obama and Biden. She openly admitted she was a conservative and was touched at how compassionate and caring Obama was towards everyone.

9/11 was brutal though wasn't it?

Condoleez Rice on Benghazi
RICE: But when things are unfolding very, very quickly, it’s not always easy to know what is really going on on the ground. And to my mind, the really important questions here are about how information was collected. Did the various agencies really coordinate and share intelligence in the way that we had hoped, with the reforms that were made after 9/11?

So there’s a big picture to be examined here. But we don’t have all of the pieces, and I think it’s easy to try and jump to conclusions about what might have happened here. It’s probably better to let the relevant bodies do their work.

"President Obama campaigned four years ago on a promise of revamping the federal government’s disaster response functions and has embraced reforms long sought by state governors and professional emergency managers. In the past three and a half years, Obama has led the federal response to multiple disasters, including tornadoes, flooding and major hurricanes, learning from the stumbles of George W. Bush’s presidency by ordering federal agencies to aggressively prepare and respond to major storms."

"As a governor, Romney requested federal disaster assistance for storm cleanup, and he has toured storm-ravaged communities as a presidential candidate. His running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), joined House Republicans in blocking disaster relief funds last year amid disagreements over federal spending — and Romney agreed with suggestions that the Federal Emergency Management Agency could be dissolved as part of federal budget cuts.

When moderator John King suggested during a June 2011 CNN debate that federal disaster response could be curtailed to save federal dollars, Romney replied:“Absolutely. Every time you have an occasion to take something from the federal government and send it back to the states, that’s the right direction. And if you can go even further and send it back to the private sector, that’s even better.”

Romney has not made similar comments since the debate, and aides insisted Monday that Romney would not abolish FEMA as president.

“Gov. Romney believes that states should be in charge of emergency management in responding to storms and other natural disasters in their jurisdictions,” said campaign spokeswoman Amanda Hennenberg.“As the first responders, states are in the best position to aid affected individuals and communities, and to direct resources and assistance to where they are needed most. This includes help from the federal government and FEMA.”

But what Romney now believes is exactly how the system currently works:

Soooo, Swiss tries to tell Conservatives he would abolish FEMA, then when he realizes that is just plain insane and no citizen would embrace it, he takes the position that it should be exaclty as it is now!

Trust this guy?!!??!!?!?

Fugate, and by extension, Obama, have earned praise for restoring the agency’s reputation in the years sine Hurricane Katrina. Despite working for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), Fugate said he rebuffed overtures from George W. Bush to rebuild FEMA after Katrina, saying that the GOP administration did not want to rebuild the agency in a fashion since embraced by Obama.

Though Bill Clinton had revamped FEMA following Hurricane Andrew in 1992, observers say the agency suffered from budget cuts and the lack of professional emergency managers during the Bush administration, including the appointment of Michael D. Brown, who had no professional experience in disaster response.

Congress has since broadened FEMA’s authority so that the agency can respond in advance of major storms, instead of waiting for governors to request federal aid after a disaster strikes. The changes have earned plaudits in the past from Republican governors Haley Barbour (Miss.) and Bobby Jindal (La.)– usually tough Obama critics — and professional emergency managers who sought the changes for years.

Jim Mullen, director of Washington State Emergency Management Division and the president of the National Emergency Management Association, said Obama’s legacy at FEMA would be restoring “strong professional emergency managers who can attract other emergency management professionals and support the ones already there and make certain that on this at least, we should all be willing to put everything else aside and do what’s necessary for our country.”

Still want to go back to the Bush style of Governing!!!!

You watch how many GOP Governors beg for Fedaral dollars!!!! Small Government, until of course, they need it!!

Sorry. Won't read anything from thinkprogress...any more than I would read something from redstate. I try to stay far and away from anything that's far left or right.
I agree with Condi's statement, to a point. The Benghazi attack lasted seven hours and the state dept. was watching in real time. Some of these guys were told that jets from Italy would be sent in-Spectres). That was one of Tyrone Woods messages "Where the ---- is Spectre?" as he and other SEALS were using lazers to pinpoint where the jets were to aim their missiles.
They were expecting help that never came.
Today, the President admitted that some of his staffers messed up. I'm sure that's a great comfort to the families of the slain!
So, you're right, there is a bigger picture here and it will take a long time before we know all the pieces. But what is coming out increasingly points to mis-communications, mistakes and one hand not knowing what the other was doing or saying. And that agencies that didn't work well together before 9/11 still aren't working well together.
