You had six years in the senate to do something for our country Allen and you failed when we look in the rear view mirror.

Of the two, I am hoping Kaine is the better cause I certainly do not want a repeat of 2001-2006. Those are the years that helped bring us the mess in 2008.

Yep. Obummer has certainly been a mess. The country may never recover from his ineptitude.

Our country needs tax and spending reform to get the economy back on track, and of the two candidates George Allen is the one most likely to support a good bill.

Tim Kaine talks a good game, but he has always been a much bigger spender than Allen.

so, why was allen's face so red during the debate? was it the humiliation of losing to a soft tooth democrat, or all the alcohol during his debate prep?

The red face issue? All one has to do is replay the tapes on the day Mitt selected Paulie as his running mate. That AM Allen was questionable. By midday at the Northern Virginia event he was apparently plastered. He got in Queen Ann's face and she backed off in a hurry. In addition to concussions suffered in UVA loses when he tried to play football, he apparently has another problem now.

In the substance of the Monday night debate, George was cautious. When he was asked about it, he did not address the forced ultrasound issue head on. Instead went off on a tangent about rape, and that ended in midsentence. The issue of equal pay for women when doing the same job as a male, turned into an attack on something that only he could understand.

He thought it was smart to attack Tim Kaine for choosing to answer the Presidential call to head-up the Democratic Party as Chairman. He sounded like Brown up in Mass. attacking Elizabeth Warren for her bloodline, rather talk about the issues.

Kaine pointed out that the budget was balanced when George went to DC. When he left it was well on the way to the low point that "W" took it to before he got out of town.

Other than following the popular T-Bag call of ending the Affordable Health Care Act without any ideas for replacement George, did have not much substance. Although for some supporters, he had to talk slow so they could follow him. At least Tim was coherent.

The Republicans' plans - such as they have - all lead to massive elder poverty:

- Republican plans for Medicaid will throw thousands out of nursing homes, many to live in cardboard boxes or under bridges; elders who think Republicans respect old age will be bitterly disappointed when they may need nursing home care

- Republicans plans for Medicaid and Social Security will drive thousands of disabled children out of services, and thousands of disabled parents will have to give up their children that they can no longer care for; Republicans who believe that their party respects 'family values' will be bitterly disappointed when Republican plans destroy families

- Republican plans will return to health corporate health insurance 'death panels' deciding who will be accepted or rejected for health insurance depending on how much money the corporations want to make; pro-fetal life and anti-euthanisia Republicans will be bitterly disappointed when corporate 'death panels' who only care about Wall Street get their way

- etc

I don't know how ANY state employee could ever vote Kaine into another political office, ever. All he knows how to do is spend/waste. Spend/waste money that SHOULD have gone to employee raises/retirement. I would NEVER advise anyone to work for the State. McDonnell's been able to pull a couple of bonuses out of the hat, but with no raises for so many years, state employee salaries are grossly, shamefully behind the 8-ball.

Kaine has promised to rip the heads of all the squirrels in the trees surounding the Capitol building if he is elected to Congress! Can we really afford to elect someone so violent and unbalanced?

That is the funniest thing I have read in the entire election! I would vote for Kaine in a heartbeat if he would actually to to Washington and start ripping the heads off the tree rats there! I bet Iran would think twice about building bombs if they saw video of Congressman Kaine ripping the heads off of squirrels!
