Let's hope that Kaine will keep his promise to promote fiscal responsibility. Our nation just cannot take any more out of control spending.

Crack me up, the country is changing, like it or not. People are not afraid to vote, they realize they CAN make a difference. The GOP has to start embracing women, Latinos, Asians, and African Americans.

The GOP is stuck in the 1950's because women now have careers, Asians and Latinos are here legally, and African Americans are not afraid to vote. Start embracing these groups instead of alienating them, it's not rocket science.

How you can say such rubbish and believe it, shows your ignorance and willingness to believe whatever the mainstream media tells you. What a bunch of self centered, spoiled dupes you liberals are. I'm not a particular fan of Bush but he had blacks, latinos and women all over his administration and you no doubt complained about that as well, you hypocrites. Kaine just loves raising taxes to feed the bloated federal hog. I was so disappointed that all we had to choose from was Kaine or Allen. We lose either way with those two.

Who cares what the GOP thinks about women or any other form of life they keep shipping here to the U.S. We just want the civil war to start so this country can be cleansed of all impurities. It won't take long, you've already elected the dumbest president ever for a second term, thanks guys! It would never get started with a smart president!

that didn't affect his political agenda however, and why obama got 93% of black vote, 71% of hispanic and 55% of women vote (Lilly Ledbetter, Equal Pay act, women's reproductive health issues....)

not to mention same sex
GOP won't be able to accept these social changes in time for the next election cycle, so will continue to lose seats in the congress to minorities and women.
Teaparty/conservative white men's concerns are different than the majority of minorities, women and youth (who voted 60% for the prez).

All Obama had to do is appeal to the 47%(easy) and
to only 4% of the rest (almost as easy) and he was in.
Future elections will always be easy wins by Dems unless the Repubs change their demographic focus. It's that simple.

I know it's hard for you to keep up. It's called figuative speaking and the message is that the two are interchangable....

My opinion is that Kaine worked well bringing the two sides together in VA. I sincerely hope he can do the same in the senate.

If the GOP has candidates that offend and marginalize women all the money in the world won't win elections. Look at the senate races in MO and IN. The one in Indiana was a GOP win two weeks before the election, then the moron had to say that pregnancy from rape was a gift from God. Big loss followed.
