They say the first step to recovery is to admit there is a problem. While the GOP continues to play innocent, you can sit in the back seat while the democrats drive.

I knew where to find it and research it myself. Can't speak for the rest of the folks in the country that lacked gumption and only heard "FREE" without knowing that "FREE" ain't free.

Fox News might have had ten years to "dumb down" conservatives, but the lib schools, Fed interference in education, and the major news networks have had since LBJ's term to nurture the dumbing down process. Welcome to America, 2012. You get the governance you deserve.

They're All Against Jobs
by Sen. Fritz Hollings / December 20, 2009 / http://tinyurl.com/ydr27ze
Who is against jobs in the United States? The big banks, Wall Street, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Business Roundtable, the United States Chamber of Commerce, the National Retail Federation, Corporate America, the President of the United States, Congress of the United States. Everyone is crying for jobs, but no one seems to understand why there aren't any. And the reason for those opposing jobs is money.
Beginning in 1973, big banks made most of their profit outside of the United States. Industries off-shoring, investing, banks financing the investments, transfer fees, fees and interest on the loans made for bigger profits. Long since, the big banks under the leadership of David Rockefeller have led the way to off-shore and make a bigger profit. Goldman Sachs, AIG, Citicorp and Wall Street, conspiring for a bailout and now using it for bonuses, make more money from the off-shored operations.

The only bad thing about the win is that "I'm your Huckleberry" has retreated to some foreign political forum under yet another new alias; a complete identity change lest be recognized and laughed off the internet. What great entertainment from this fool; NBC29 boards will never be the same again.
I heard NBC29 is looking for Huck and will make an offer to get him to return. Advertisers are threatening to leave if Huck isn't wooed back.

Where have you been? The dems didn't reach across the aisle the last 4 years, as a matter of fact they did things behind closed doors, Harry Reid refused to bring bills up for a vote that the house had passed and obama ramrodded by use of executive order. It is only going to get worse.Obama is a globalist. We will become like Europe. Bigger government and less freedom. The liberals are already limiting the freedom of Christians, and they are only just beginning. They are attacking the NRA, they are choosing our medical care, telling us what to eat.Wait until obama signs the treaties with the un and further takes away American sovereignty, and we have the likes of Iran, and russia telling us how to live. The good news,God has a plan which will prevail.
Judy, I see you did peek from under that rock you live under a couple of times. If you had bothered to peek a little longer, you would have discovered that your thinking is flawed. How is Christians fredoom being limited? Who's said anything about taking your guns? Why do you need an AK-47 to hunt with?
Yes God does have a plan, and Barack Obama being President for another 4 years is in it. Congratulations Mr. President.

It's early. The scabs have not had time to cover the wounds of defeat. During the contest the rhetoric exceeded reasonable levels, and both sides felt the other party was responsible for the volume of rancor.
I would hope that those who verbally want to continue the conversation with divisive sentiments will pause and reconsider what the American people have voted for. That they will not continue to depend upon limited sources for information to boost their ideals, but open their minds to a variety of outlets so they can see the big picture. And most importantly, heed the words of our President in his speech early Wednesday Morning; "We are not a red America. We are not a blue America. We are the United States of America."
No leaders in Washington are going to do everything we want. They should take into consideration the wants and needs of all people, not the rhetoric of a few. Then vote
LETS HOPE THIS YEAR THE POLITICIANS LISTEN. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN LOUD AND CLEAR. NOW IT'S TIME FOR THAT RED, WHITE, AND BLUE AMERICA TO BACK, NOT DEVIDE OUR GOVERNMENT

@Disillusioned and @Top Flight - perhaps its just time to recognize that the lens through which you are viewing the world isn't nearly as simple or clear or correct as you believe. Perhaps its time to recognize that people that vote differently from you also have a point. So perhaps its time to just stop with the wild-eyed panic and restore some actual reason to political discussion in the United States. One part of that will have to mean that you need to take others' analyses of contemporary issues seriously. You never have to agree. But if you just want to continue to shout things down from a rigid wing-fringe, then you just contribute to problems. Learn to talk to your fellow citizens without the shrill wing-fringe panic.
I suspect your calm demeanor is only due to the Democratic wins last night. While I do not recognize your "name", I assume you have read my postings and comments here before. If you have read any of my prior postings, you would have seen more in depth and "reason to political discussion."

Additionally, I am not sure how you are hearing "shouts" or "panic" in my post(s)-- you are imagining that.

Instead of summarizing all of the facts which I have written in prior posts, I will reiterate my most recent statement: Tim Kaine will vote in the Senate however Obama tells him, similar to how he was merely an extension of Obama as Governor of Virginia.

I will also remind you and others that Tim Kaine was head of the DNC while Governor of Virginia, so we paid untold expenses while he performed Democrat business (refused to provide schedule information when requested). We had a part-time Governor while he received full pay from VA and DNC.

The liberal Obama citizens in this forum, for the most part, have defined the Romeny citizens as "stupid", "out of touch", "rednecks" and so forth. Well, I am college educated, my family M.D. is certainly educated as are my wife and children as well as a great many of my friends and co workers. How in the world is an entire portion of out population deemed stupid or out of touch. Maybe we see things in a traditional sense and don't need or want the government to give us all things or want the governments "two cents" everytime we turn around.

I understand. We tend to draw caricatures of things on this forum. No ill will, just exagerated sentiment responding. If there were more of you and your family and less tea party sympathisers and supporters, Obama may have lost this election.
The traditional Republicans ( like Reagan - but now would be seen as a liberal)are a dying breed. The new Republican order has deviated on many core, fundamental and traditional values, and this cost them the election. Have fun on this forum and don't take it too seriously.
