If you read the first few lines of the article you would know.

The Kennedys are Evil people. They built their fortune in organized crime (bootlegging) and make no apologies for it.

What a horrible thing to do to this little college and to this wonderful person. The Catholic Church continues to show that it has no love for God's children, in direct opposition to the teachings of Jesus. While I am not surprised, I AM disgusted.

Love the sinner but hate the sin. Know you want to cry foul to the church when you have done nothing but spit on it the whole time. You can't have it both ways girlfriend!

Sorry, but your post makes no sense. While i was teaching, I would have given it an F.

Guessing at your meaning, however, Mrs. Kennedy is no more a sinner than you are, yet the Catholic Church continues to pick and choose who they extend their acceptance to. Not Christian in the least.

Not me.

My brother-in-law was killed at the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001. He was a New York City Fireman. His human remains were never found. He leaves a wife and 4 children.

*everybody* regardless of their religion or lack thereof; are required to purchase their $35 marriage license from the county courthouse so the clerk can record it in county family records (geneology) and establish legal kinship for the marriage partners

In the U.S., requireing a state issued marriage license in orde rto marry is a relatively new development. Even in the 20th Century, many states did not require one. And a lot of good arguments can be made, and have been made, that the governments should NOT be in the marriage business at all.

Prior to the socialism introduced here in the U.S. by the Democrats (aka The Socialists), in the 20th century, if 2 people were married, or if 2 people lived together without benefit of marriage, the "benefits" received by the married couple over the unmarried couple were ZERO. I.E. they were all treated EQUALLY.

EQUALLY ?! OMG ! What a revolutionary concept ! We can't have THAT !

Speaking of government benefits, it was recently reported that unemployed "Octomom" Nadya Suleman is now recieving TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($ 2000.00) a month TAX FREE FROM THE GOVERNMENT in "benefits".

The problem was snarling christians would not sell marriage licenses to people who were not snarling christians; so everybody else fell thru the cracks
.
The government had to establish order so it could keep track of who is who (geneology); and how many (census)

You can be a Catholic and a thinking, feeling person as well. I know that is hard for someone who has never had an original thought in his life.

No, they didn't. In 1870 they had the ninth decennial census, and at that time which was during the huge influx of European immigrants into the U.S., not only were there NO marriage licenses required in the U.S., we didn't even have ANY immigration laws.

Marriage licenses did not start becoming required in some states until the 20th century, and it had NOTHING TO DO with geneology.
