The No Child Left Behind education law was cast as a symbol of possibility, offering the promise of improved schools for the nation's poor and minority children and better prepared students in a competitive world.Yet after a decade on the books, President George W. Smarter? Hardly.. Just sad cases of parents trying to do something that they should never have done.. Stunting their children education. By not teaching them anything of merit.
Come on there is no way I am going to give a sweet d*mn about your statistics when I have first hand seen the sad end results of young people willfully ignorant. Not because of an educational system that did them no favors, but they're own parents pouring into their ears some of the dumbest, outlandish, bullshyt.
Sorry dear. No matter how you slice it. Having worked and later supervised some of these sad cases. I am of the firm opinion that Home Schooling should be grounds for a charge of child abuse.
Homeschoolers have won a disproportionate number of major educational awards
So you're smarter than the awards committees?
I'ma no tink zo!
How many National Spelling Bees have YOU won?

The NAEP's tests show that homeschoolers score FAR above average
So you're smarter than the entire National Public Education system?
I'ma no tink zo!

Major Universities are actively recruiting these students
So you're smarter than the post-high school system?
I'ma no tink zo!

Homeschoolers enter University with more credits than average, have higher GPA's, and are more likely to graduate
But your omniscience is greater than results?
I'ma no tink zo!

Closed, locked and welded shut.

If anything, the Public Ed system should be shuttered for doing such a pizzpoor job. When students "graduate" (IF they graduate) without being able to sign their name, wrote a coherent sentence, or make change without the cash register telling them how - THAT is a problem! When Colleges must test entering students and send the majority for remedial courses, THAT is the problem.

Maybe you're so used to working with dolts that any modicum of intelligence stymies you!

**YAWN** so what you are a proponent of creating the ignorance that is all too apparent in the real world..

So, a bunch of stats mean nothing to me when I have the real life experience of seeing the sad end results of homeschooling.

I stand by statement. Home schooling should be a charge of child abuse. Shut, welded, and closed. To use your own words.
