Well this article really makes it quite clear how dangerous religion is. Plus it is a clear window of what the republicans want for America, constitutional oppression and discrimination. One more thing I noticed this article points out, religion sure has a knack for making people stupid.

It's not that religion makes you stupid, it's that the religious people you are hearing about are basically ignorant sheep. They are controlled by power hungry ministers who have them completely in thrall. It is the great unwashed, the uneducated that these wolves gather and control.

One of Mitt's charities has a pay away the gay. They are racist, too. Republians just hate people. I know from talking to them. Then, I take a bath.

Actually religion is what Jesus Christ had been teaching people to distance themselves from. About the only people Jesus really became irate with had been the religious leaders because they had been teaching and treating people much the same and worse as they do today. He was attempting to teach people that He and His Father were not of religion and the New Testament is pretty much a moving away from religion. Remember Paul on the road to Damascus? Paul was a Pharisee of Pharisee's, top enforcer for the church in Rome. Spend time studying the book of Acts, its very clear that there is a distinct separation between God and religion. Unfortunately the actual ministry of Jesus disappeared not long after Paul and the rest of Jesus' teachers had died off and things went back to a religious state mostly due to the church in Rome which is known as the catholic church today. You are correct about the power hungry ministers even Jesus called them corrupters of men because they have made themselves their own gods. Whether one believes in the christian God or not what had been taught during Jesus ministry is one of the most beautiful definitions of what life should be because it has everything to do with unconditional love and a respect for life. With religion there is a condition to love and the LGBTQ community hear about if every day. The people of religion say if we repent and become straight then they will treat us as equals, that's putting a condition on love.

If you're speaking of the Biblical Jesus, He says, "If you love me, keep my commandments."

He repeatedly commands against all homosexual behavior:

Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"

1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

BTW, what kind of mother chooses to deny her children a father? You didn't think you needed yours?

Of course, not one of those quotes was attributed to Jesus, nor are they identified as commandments. We don't even have to get into the issues of interpretation, which you don't even comprehend let alone master.

David, you are still sinning by not using your name.
Oh, and what did you tell your kids when your wife left you and took your kids after she found you in her bed with another man?

Dear Mr. Walker:
Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's law. I have learned a great deal from you, and I try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind him that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to best follow them.
When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev. 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. How should I deal with this?
I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as it suggests in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev. 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
Lev. 25:44 states that I may buy slaves from the nations that are around us. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans but not Canadians. Can you clarify?
I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Lev. 10:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?
Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?
I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.
Thanks to to Dr. Laura.

Crunch time is here conservatives need to get behind Newt Gingrich. I am surprised Santorum has not thrown already his weight behind Newt Gingrich with the understanding it is for Florida only. It is hopeless for Santorum in Florida. Santorum will only guarantee a Mitt Romney victory in Florida. Mr. Santorum you never have a chance against Mitt Romney's money. If you let Newt Gingrich take on Mitt Romney on a equal footing in Florida you would stand a much BETTER chance against Newt Gingrich later. Mr. Santorum if you are not the nominee who would you rather pick the next 2 supreme court justices Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich? Do you have a conscious Mr. Santorum or are you vain? No insult intended Mr. Santorum surely the logic is inescapable, cede Florida to Newt Gingrich in a temporary strategic alliance which would allow you and Newt Gingrich to live to fight another day !!!

Please, this article is so biased it's ridiculous. So the Republican candidates are bigots because they don't support gay marriage? Well guess what, your beloved Barack Obama doesn't support it either!

The article is also factually incorrect as it says that none of the GOP candidates have a gay family member, when in fact Newt Gingrich's half-sister is gay. She's quite well known in the LBGT community so it's not a mistake but a deliberate attempt to deceive.
