Mazie Hirono is too timid and polite to be the next senior U.S. Senator for the State of Hawaii.
Mazie was born in Japan and moved to Hawaii as a child. This situattion appears to have led her to be overly polite and apologetic as a Hawaii citizen, as if she has the mindset of being a guest in the State. We need someone like Ed Case who was born and raised near Hilo, Hawaii. He has the 'kuliana' that it will take to become the senior U.S. Senator of the State of Hawaii. Forget about the 'old-boy' Democratic political machine in Hawaii that gets engrained politicians like Governor Abercrombie elected. He owes the HGEA employees big time. We need Ed Case. Mazie Hirono needs to retire and fade away like General MacArthur did. Nuff said.
