Yes, enjoy reality, as opposed to your usual diet of paranoia and closet racism.

Roll Call reports that the National Republican Senate Committee has pulled funding for Rep. Todd Akin's campaign, after making controversial comments on rape.

Other prominent Republicans have demanded that Akin drop out including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell R-Ky., Sen. Scott Brown R-Mass., Sen. Ron Johnson R-Wis. and former Rep. Heather Wilson, a 2012 candidate for U.S. Senator from New Mexico.

Weather he quits or not Todd Akin will no longer be in the senate after the election.
His remarks are undefendable.

Nice try but these ignorant and offensive words came out of a republicants mouth and - yes - his words, his ignorance and his backward thinking are important enough for "discourse"

After all these political folks are making decisions for the rest of us and all "discourse" is relevant - whatever party you folks hug on to

In the end and in each of our hearts, we know Akin was correct in his attempt at focusing on the worth of every human being. He misspoke only as far as he forgot the distortions rabid killers of 57 Million babies would accomplish in their dying fits of rage and actual true hatred of human beings.
It was a left trick that had akin speaking from his ass.

Interesting.

Rumors floating around that McCaskill's campaign was back door supporting Akin as he was considered the worst GOP candidate in the primaries.

One McCaskill adv. warned Akin was too conservative.

Palin backes female candidate Steelman is considered a good replacement for Akin.

This is just another example of the type of idiots we the people put in power - the Republican tag and the Democrat tag are interchangeable. Does the name Anthony Weiner ring a bell? There are fools in both parties from top to bottom and presently at the very top are two of the biggest fools of all - biden/obama. give ryan/romney a 4 year shot, anything would be a step up, hell mccarthy/nixon would be a step up!

In both Missouri and in Indiana the Tea Party is literally handing us two potential wins
Where werent going to win. If us Mules retain controll of the Senate by a
One seat margin and take either seat ,
Question becomes is the Tea Party killing the G.O.P.
It reminds me of when I first registered to vote (as a Republican )
The McGovernites killed the Democrats with self righteous quests for
Idealogolical purity and a habit of saying the dumb things that they believe on the campaign trail.
So how much is extermism hurting the G.O.P.

Paul Ryan and Todd Akin Partnered On Radical ‘Personhood’ Bill

Rep. Todd “Legitimate Rape” Akin (R-MO) and GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan both cosponsored the bill that introduced America to the despicable term “forcible rape.” As it turns out, this may only be the second most sweeping attack on reproductive freedom that both men partnered on. Ryan and Akin also cosponsored a federal personhood bill, the Sanctity of Human Life Act of 2009, which declares that a fertilized egg is entitled to the exact same legal rights as a human being.

Tricks? He shot himself in the foot...there was no Leftist trick.

As far as abortion is concerned, yeah outlaw it. You can pay the tab of raising those unwanted babies who'll more than likely end up in jail.

If you know of even onee abby who has been killed,(never mind 57 Million babies) you have a moral obligation to go to the police and report this murder.

You have not done so, so which are you?
A devil or a liar?

For you must be one or the other to ignore people killing living babies.

Unfortunately, Senator Akin damaged his reputation and the reputation of the GOP that he represents. With 70 days before the most critical elections in US history, Senator Akin became a liability to the GOP and put its victory over the Obama regime in jeopardy. Akin cannot fix the damage that he did to himself and the GOP before the elections and therefore he must be replaced to save the GOP from potential defeat which could lead to the destruction of America during four more years under the America hater Obama.

So, it was not a trick, that the DEMOCRATS spent $1.5 MILLION on helping Akin win the REPUBLICAN primary?????
