(Reuters) Unburdened by re-election worries and empowered by law to act without Congress, U.S. President Barack Obama could take action to improve background checks on gun buyers, ban certain gun imports and bolster oversight of dealers.

OR President Obama could restore school security funding HE CUT in 2010.

President Obama's Administration had 2 events resulting in murdered innocents under their watch.

Benghazi occurred after numerous requests were made for stronger security in Benghazi.

The now the Sandy Hook ES mass murder occurred 2 years after the Obama Administration cut school security funding by $800,000,000. Of course President Obama's kids are guarded by 10 armed security guards.

RIP brave kids and adults, our heros.

And all Obama has to offer is gun control?

Give us a break!!!

GET OVER BENGAZI ALREADY. People die in war zones doing danger ous work. Eeven of they weaar a tie and have a title. He lmew the risks and accepted them.

You sir are TRULY a complete IDIOT.

That day at Sandy Hook was probably the worst day of my 2012 and I live in Florida with no ties to anyone there. IF all you can do after something like that is blame the president for some other bullshit he could not have stopped either, you sir have not a soul, but only the small black pit it has left behind.

The analysis of the Benghazi failure are in. A number of resignations have occured within the state department. HOWEVER the person in charge, President Obama, has walked away from the Benghazi murders calling them simply a "Bump In The Road".

Of course this is after President Obama blamed the Benghazi incedent on a Hollywierd produced movie, a complete falsehood. And his pick for Secretary of state withdraws her application. Thank God someone has some sense. President Obama would have run her up the poll for another level of failure.

And you call ME an idiot??

OK I accept total responsibility for the deaths of the 4 Americans who died on US soil fighting for their lives. You got any other suggestions?

The weapons Adam Lanza used to murder were NOT legally purchased by him.

Adam's mother, bless her soul, purchased the weapons and had them stored at her house but not secured from her crazy son.

Adam stole the weapons and his first felony was the murder of his mother.

Adam then went to school and kept killing, commiting many other felonies with stolen weapons.

Adam then killed himself as a final act of escape from the pain of life, of course he also used a stolen weapon to kill himself.

As in many crimes the weapon be it a knife, firearm, club, fire, explosives the weapon is legally purchased and then stolen by the criminal to use in a crime.

I did not say or imply the guns were purchased by the lunatic. Only that they were legally purchased by a law abiding citizen with no intent of ever using them to kill everyone in a 2nd grade class room.

And yes legal weapons are stolen and then used by criminals. I actually beleive that in itself is plenty reason for more controls involved with firearm ownership. Instant deadly force should not be taken lightly, and very often sloppy ownership of these weapons results in death.

Never heard of the "bump in the road thing" so that's just made-up bullshit.
The movie thing was not a hollywood featurette, more bullshit
and...
The boss never gets caught for anything if he is a decent boss.

Waht would have been sufficent security for the thousands of peole who overran the consulate in Bengazi? 10 soldiers? 50? 100?
There were thousands of civilians and they cannot be engaged until they are on American soil so even with 50 additional people we would only have 50 more deaths.

So in conclusion. Yes I stand by my afore mentioned mean name calling.
You sir are an idiot, and are without soul.
You are an excellent reapeater parrot FON News though.
Keep up the good work..

As far as Benghazi goes, the reports are in. There were about 200 attackers and the 2 Navy Seals killed 60 of them. Another couple of Seals would have worked fine.

Furthermore the Benghazi attack went on for 6 hours. Enough time to fly in air support and neutralize the threat.

The 4 Americans did not have to die, no excuses for letting them fight to their deaths, NONE.

Happy New Year to you sorry arse as well.
