"Hagel, on his first visit to Israel as Pentagon chief, also declared that it is Israel's right to decide for itself whether to attack Iran to stop it from building a nuclear bomb."

Israel already KNOWS THAT!!

Israel was the first to pre-emptively DESTROY Sadaam's nuclear power plant a couple of decades ago (Osirak nuclear facility near Baghdad, 1981).

Does Hagel think, somehow, that Israel was just waiting to hear that HE THINKS IT'S OK for them to do it??

Israel does not need his approval!! Our Pentagon chief should already KNOW that. He is looking rather foolish!

This is outrageous as Iran must be prepared for any strike against its country as that would be a clear violation against UN laws, unless Iran strikes Israel first then should only Israel strike first.

Hagel has made a good statement, but who can believe anything coming from Obama friends?! Kerry has just compared Boston with killing of Turkish hooligans who attacked Israeli soldiers in their waters - how low and demented can one be?

Iran has no worries, no concerns and is under no threat of any violence toward it, IF it stops planning to wipe Israel from the map.

Sometimes, a preemptive strike, against someone like Iran, is necessary to thwart a criminal, unwarranted, terrorist, act of genocide against another country. You can't wait until they send a nuke at some innocent country.

Iran has made it clear that they want Israel off the map. The only way is a nuke. You can't wait until it is deployed before you act.

Iran will wait until it is sure of a win before it acts. Israel has to act now.
