Give in in order to get gOP support, and not get it anyway. The rich and powerful rule, partly by getting the little guys to complain that the paperwork will hurt them. somehow simplified paperwork will be more burdensome? strange,

Well, I feel lots better now, after seeing barney Frank with Elizabeth Warren and Congrssman Moores, and a consumer advocate, at a press conference. Frank said the committee process was more difficult than the House floor debate would be. He said that it was lucky that the bill had not been watered down more than it was. Of course, the problem is always with the Senate, to get the 60 votes for cloture. Elizabeth Warren was quietly jubilant! she said she had not imagined that she would ever see the day this would happen! She is my favorite woman in the political world - but not a candidate or politician, a law professor who is head of the tARP oversight committee, a scholar, and advocate for the ordinary person, against the powerful guys.
