Many Americans have lost much of their wealth and we have tributaries of greenbacks being flushed through the system at break neck speed in endless ways and these maniacs still can't figure out that we need to fix our foundation and rebuild. What they are doing is destroying America to weaken us to the point where many areas will be no different then third world nations. This just not in culture that refuses to assimilate, but in attitude. We have enough people in America already that refuses to assimilate and get with the program. A new program is coming. One of force.

As is Ted Cruz dead to me after hearing him on the Senate floor today. He wants legalization for illegals but not a path to citizenship for them. They shouldn't get either. The only reason he doesn't want citizenship is because they will vote Democrat and this is probably true but why give these lawbreakers the right to stay here at all?

Rubio, Cruz both Hispanics surnames. Well, duh I knew it all along.

He is just a plant for the Hispanics. Republicans need to forget about the Hispanic vote, and be for all Americans. If they happen to be Hispanic, then great, but if they want to be catered to because of their race or ethnicity then they are not needed.

Illegal aliens cannot get their amnesty bill through the House. The House will pass their bill, and send it back to the Senate, and if there is no border closing first, before Amnesty, the bill loses.

It will be interesting to see what this prevaricator has to say when all is said and done. Either way, he IS done.

They must be blackmailing Rubio, holding up legal entry into the country of some of his relatives. We have an Al Capone type government now, all gangsters. Obama has the IRS, the DOJ, the EPA, and who knows who else all coming together to socially strangle the American citizens. Snowden is a traitor, but he is a traitor that told us what we needed to know to start reining in this overreaching government. Is this your America?

Rubio really disappoints me ,and I like him but I think he is very naive if he thinks that if this immigration bill passes in its current form and gives the illegals in this country amnesty first that there will ever be any border security. They will have what they want and border security be damned ,we'll never see it.

The moment anything is passed it will go right to the supreme court as unconstitutional under the 14th and 15th amendments and these"provisional citizens" will be extended full rights.

There is no place for hyphenated Americans...we must unite no matter what our ethnicity and fight for what is in the best interests for all legal, red-blooded Americans.

"There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism... a hyphenated American is not an American at all. This is just as true of the man who puts "native" before the hyphen as of the man who puts German or Irish or English or French before the hyphen. Americanism is a matter of the spirit and of the soul. Our allegiance must be purely to the United States. We must unsparingly condemn any man who holds any other allegiance. But if he is heartily and singly loyal to this Republic, then no matter where he was born, he is just as good an American as any one else."

Naturalization requirements from USCIS.gov :

Responsibilities
To become a U.S. citizen you must take
the Oath of Allegiance. The oath includes
several promises you make when
you become a U.S. citizen, including
promises to:
• Give up all prior allegiance to any other
nation or sovereignty;
• Swear allegiance to the United States;
• Support and defend the Constitution
and the laws of the United States; and
• Serve the country when required.
U.S.

The Oath of Allegiance
I hereby declare, on oath,
that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince,
potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen;
that I will support and defend the Constitution and
laws of the United States of America against all
enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States
when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the
law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help
me God.

English and Civics
According to the law, applicants must
demonstrate:
•“an understanding of the English
language, including an ability to read,
write, and speak...simple words and
phrases...in ordinary usage in the
English language....”
•“a knowledge and understanding of the
fundamentals of the history, and of the
principles and form of government, of
the United States....”
This means that to be eligible for
naturalization, you must be able to read,
write, and speak basic English. You must
also have a basic knowledge of U.S.
history and government

Attachment to the Constitution
All applicants for naturalization must be
willing to support and defend the United
States and our Constitution. You declare
your “attachment” to the United States and
our Constitution when you take the Oath of
Allegiance. In fact, it is not until you take
the Oath of Allegiance that you actually
become a U.S. citizen. If you are unwilling
or unable to take the Oath of Allegiance
in its entirety please see Page 38 for more
information.
What does the Oath require? When you
take the oath, you must promise to do
three things:
(1) Renounce Foreign Allegiances. As
stated in the oath, you must renounce
all foreign allegiances to become a U.S.
citizen.
(2) Support the Constitution. You must
also be willing to support and defend the
principles of the Constitution and the laws
of the United States.
(3) Serve the United States. When
required by law, you must be willing to
(a) fight in the U.S. Armed Forces,(b)
perform noncombatant service in the
U.S. Armed Forces, and (c) perform
civilian service for the United States.

Latino vote is not needed it? Didn't Obama won thanks to the Latino vote? I thought so.
I voted for Obama the first time then regretted it for approx. 3 3/4 years and so did so many other people that was looking for someone who appeared to be the opposite of that fool we had previous to Obama's 1st. term...we were wrong but, still some still held on to the belief that Obama was different and voted for second term it wasn't just lats. but, Obama just had a broader appeal then Romney and quite frankly more appeal than anyone that will run in 2016 so the dems. won't have that going for them in 2016 as they did in 08' & 12'.
What will be telling is who we the people vote for in 16' will it be along party lines? along race lines? will we be informed and intelligent enough to vote on the issues etc.?
"WHO KNOWS" it perhaps will not matter what side we choose i for one have lost confidence in our govt. as well as the voting process after putting so much faith that Obama would be someone we could all rally behind anmd support now, trust and faith is gone and no matter the party affiliate of each individual i will look at them with skeptisism.

You know -I find it very funny, because you hate
Marco Rubio for the wrong reasons: What you want is
a hardcore solution, just as if anyone coming into
the country were to sully the image of the U.S.
This however, first of all, isn´t true: Thete are
some very decent, hardworking immigrants I`ve met
and they are this way, because some "kind-hearted Americans"were nice to them, as well as generous.
So-let`s not forget the lession, that kindness and generosity actually have a tendency of paying off.
But what is it, that is bad about this
bill?I believe it is very sublte-you can hardly
see it: What actually IS bad, is that it is about
the needs of the American industry and the workers
unions, who need a shot in the arm as far as cheap
labor from outside are concerned:
And they´d be willing going to import them if they
were,´t here already, like a bunch of avocados
from Mexico. Obama is all in favor for this way
of thinking, because the "Gang of Eight" really
has his tacit consent: It is all just an agenda
of the industry and the big money, of which
Obama is the tip of the iceberg. You think, you´re
seeing Obama , or Rubio. No,my friend, you´re
sadly wrong. What you´re seeing are the open jaws
of the big money, the industry, those dow-Jones
experts scouring commercial waters for fresh blood.
Obama himself used to be talking -in 2007/8 - of "thecoarsening of our culture".
Now, he is so sly as to let the" Gang of Eight" do exactly what he wants...because by now, he is in complete harmony with this wish to feed the industry-no matter how "coarse" things will get.
Once in office, they make a 180-degtree turn.
It would´ve been more honest, if the government had done different deals for different people: Like granting amnesty to people who have been in the country for more than five years, fluently speak English, subscribe to American values.....and hold a steady job.
But- no: Instead, they want those bottom-of-the barrel-needy people: The fence-hoppers, those
who made anchor-babies,the low-skilled farmhands who cannot even read five lines in a newspaper. They want these people, because the industry needs
cheap cannon fodder.Obama himself always does the
opposite of what he said before and acts by omission. This is also when he talks about "Social justice" and then he proceeds to let people in on
the basis of what the industry needs- and without
giving these people health-coverage.So: No social
justice and no social refinement: Nothing but the
agenda of the industry. And the Rubio you hate so
much is exactly the same: Remote-controlled by the
needs of the industry. Border-security would be so expensive, I believe they´ll simply end up
microchipping people like a bunch of cattle.
So- when Obama is saying :"Nobody got what they
want-" he is lying to Americans: He got all. And
Rubio is, as well. Complete border security would
ruin the U.S. financially, just as security measures once ruined eastern Germany financially.
And you know I still haven´t finished explaining:
The bill is bad, and Rubio is bad, because this bill is a freight-train filled with Junk:
Cheap labor for the industry. A fence for the Repub
licans.A Pathway to Citizenship ( which a lot of
immigrants do not care about even after having turned citizens, because they have financial motives for wanting to become American, like that
Chinese dentist I met, who a month later left the
U.S. in order to stay in China for years to come.)
-The "Pathway to citizenship "for the formal sticklers.
In reality though, the bottom-line here
is money: Financial gain for the U.S. Obama
said to Mitt Romney, during thre electoral debate
"Your five points are all just about money".
Wrong!Obamas every single move is just about money,
and he is doing the opposite of what he promised.
So- what aught to make you mad is: That this bill has every party involved get a chunk of what they want, instead of being something coherent which is
in conformance with American core values.
