I say let them serve. I'm sure platoon commanders can always use another pointman in dangerous situations. Send them out first. They can lead the way.

I don't see the problem. You want to be treated AS equals in the military. That doesn't mean you get to pick and choose what you will and will not do. JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!
