Me thinks you have mistaken "whining" for "observations of fact". Truth be told Mr. Schultz represents the two core principles of the Democratic party - hatred and intolerance.

That sounds like Big Eddie...He got into a fight with a woman at a bar in Detroit Lakes a couple years ago too.
I stand corrected though, it was a whiskey bottle, not a beer bottle. I'm still laughing out loud at thought of this guy running...
It must have been great hearing 15,000 people chant, "Ed shot his dog!" at the old Dacotah Field.
I tell you TtB, you're jarring lose some great memories from my Bison days. I recall after the bottle throwing incident security really clamped down on flasks and bottles by doing pat searches. Students were mad when they found out that alumni weren't subject to the same treatment. I guess money talked at NDSU as well, but I digress.

I don't think many students liked Ed. He really thought he was too big for Fargo/Moorhead, you could just see the contempt he had for the city. It's like he thought that someone was forcing him to be there. Such a sad burden to shoulder.

I spent my college days in Fargo/Moorhead at NDSU and Moorhead State, so I know about this clown. I only knew him as the "voice of the Bison" long before his political show. He was so full of himself that the methane level always went up when he entered a room.
I remember the bottle throwing incident as well as the dog shooting. Us students gave him so much crap for it. Whinny little turd never could handle it.
Side note: While at Moorhead State I started a now defunct Club Level Hockey Team. When I was going to the local media to lineup interviews, etc., all the stations were supportive except for Mr. Schultz. He basically told me that because it wasn't NDSU hockey to get lost and quit wasting his time.
Class act all the way around.
Ed was a Pro Football player, you may have had better luck contacting Don Cherry!

Like alfranken edshultz is going to have to make at least six trips to Iraq to sweeten his patriotic rating and confirm his love for our troops and the military.

Ed was the sports director of the ABC affiliate in Fargo (as I recall, it was ABC). All the media outlets loved what we were trying to do at Moorhead State and took the time to interview me, except Ed.

I will miss Ed's show but knowing he's leading the progressive movement in the senate will be even better. He is not just a progressive in name he is truly a progressive. Run Ed run!

ED I understand your frustration with the 99ers, but you lay it all on the dems and they have worked hard for the people. Even though they they have the majority they are being blocked at every turn. They need guys like you hammering republicans so people no who is responsable for the 99ers situation. You make it sound like the dems fault when this would not even have gotten this far if not for republicans. We need your support for votes in November!

Fast and loose Eddie started out his programs years ago saying how he was a Duck Hunter to make real Americans think he was real and not a commie.

Now he is just a QUACK.

You neglected to mention Ronald Reagan.
If you really think that is a valid comparison, you have sorely lacked educating yourself. Before politics, Reagan had solidified himself as a leader and a man that could win over opposing sides. He climbed into politics slowly and with incredible success. This Ed dunce is just that: a braying leftist, angry and insulting jerk. Here is a challenge for you: Clear you pointed little head of your partisan politics, watch Glenn Beck for an hour, then watch Keith Olbermann and Ed or Bill Maher for an hour. If you really do this, you will find Beck thoughtful, decent, factual, educating and equally critical of any party. With the liberals, you will see anger, arrogance, hostilty and spittle flying hatred and great indecency. Its really very clear. Clear that is, unless you are like one, or the other.

"Eddie" won't be going to Iraq anytime soon. The last time he was there was to escort his murdered brother remains back from that country. He is bitter about the war in Iraq, and blames Bush for his brothers' death.
