Fresh from its victory on the overhaul of health care, the Obama administration is moving aggressively on its next legislative priority -- a planned reform of financial regulation, described as the most far-reaching changes since the 1930s.

Well, lets see.
They are going to create a huge beauracracy leading to the newest and largest tax entitlement in history, now they are going to "fix" the financial woes they created with the bailouts, or monies they took from tax payers to give their CEO pal's in the banking industry.
If Obama keeps on helping us out like this, he may get exactly what he wants, which is to put every honest, hard working, tax paying American under so many government regulations and tax increases that we will all be wards of the government, under their thumb, and will have no say in anything whatsoever.

The financial woes started in 2007. Long before president Obama took office and long before any legislation the dems got passed could take effect.

Right, blame Obama's bailouts on someone else.
He, and Timmy{Geitner} are just trying to "fix" things.
If you believe that, you probably believe Obama is a U.S. citizen, and a christian to boot.

Yup and yup. I don't care if he's Zoroastorian, as long as America is regaining its economic footing. It takes time for policy to show an effect, and now trends are starting to look upward.

It looks like they really are fixing things. Hc reform, a jobs bill, and reregulating wall St is an agenda that the GOP would never consider, but these are the things that will fix our broken system. A little bit.
