If you paid me enough money, I would tell you the sky is green and the grass is blue. Prove to me the union study isn't tainted. Do what others have had to do -- take a pay freeze, or start applying to stock shelves at Walmart. Nothing like making 20 some odd bucks an hour to wrap shiz.

I'm not sure that Walmart would tolerate the clowns talking as much as they do about how they don't work and they DEFINITELY wouldn't put up with the Union mentality that these guys demonstrate.

Conclusions from said article - Forth Worth more productive than Erie. Pay freeze or bye-bye plant.
That's all very nice, the study, and all the opinions therefrom, however, you all are missing one very important FACT. That is that Management makes decisions on how to manage and improve productivity in the FUTURE not the PAST. It learns from the past and the Union is intolerant. The Union sloths better come to their senses soon or they will not have a job.

important fact also,we made GE 1,000,000,000 profit last year and over 250,000,000 record profit 1st quarter. The only thing management learned is how to slow us down with no parts and tools,FACT! To bad the board of directors do not waste their time on here or they would see if management would have learned to get us our parts and tools and get out of our way we could have made them oh idk maybe 2 billion.

Supply and Demand dummy!! They arent getting you the parts because there arent the orders to back them up. They dont want to be sitting on the inventory. If you are looking for Choo-Choo orders check with CAT!!

Most GE workers have 5-10 weeks of paid time off. When they all show up, productivity plummets.

When the union raised the 'job placement at minimum qualification' flag they dug the grave for you guys. Minimum qualification@maximum pay?

Wake up. What you're doing could be done as easily by any fast-food crew in the country.

New UE 506 study says GE Union Workers to be the most productive workers standing in line at the Unemployment Office. Officials say the UE brothers are united in solidarity & hardly worked up a sweat in driving the Locomotive Division of GE all the way to Texas. Go Union!

I've had the opportunity to observe some of the Local 506 work - lousiest workmanship I've ever seen. I know kids at the tech school that can weld better than these clowns making $25=/hour. Enjoy the UC dumba$$es.

Yeah......I know some of the Amsco welders who went to GE & were shocked at the shabby substandard welding by some of the GE welders.
