Senate Democrats pay female staffers less than male staffers

There are 47 comments on the freebeacon.com story from May 24, 2012, titled Senate Democrats pay female staffers less than male staffers. In it, freebeacon.com reports that:

Senator Murray(D), who has repeatedly accused Republicans of waging a “war on women,” is one of the worst offenders. Female members of Murray’s staff made about $21,000 less per year than male staffers in 2011, a difference of 35.2 percent. That is well above the 23 percent gap that Democrats claim exists between male and female workers nationwide.

Obama has the Gay vote all sewn up lol. Not so much with the white wimminz though.
The matter of choosing the "lesser of two evils" is a tough one this year with Obama or Romney when either way the vote is for "evil"... heh.

A shame there isn't a decent Third Party in place in 2012, that could stand a chance of winning.

You're saying Obama chose the gays over the white wimminz
Yes.

Let's "get this straight".

Why "white women", my anonymous friend?

And what edge do you claim Romney has over Obama in regards women--- of *any* color?

This is serious, please explain... "Hank", or whatever fake name you're hiding behind today.

Do you have any links that clearly show Romney's record with and support for Women, Jim?

Likewise for Obama?

This is an important issue that could help sway a *lot* of voters one way or the other.

Throughout Obama's presidency, nothing was heard of any "war on women" by republicans until reelection time came around, it was thought he might shore up the white female vote by portraying women as under attack by the republican party plus take focus off the economy and unemployment. Most democrat strategists knew this was a longshot that would inevitably fail.
Since this "war on women" campaign has began Obama has lost support from the very group he had hoped to gain with.

The key point here:

"...to take focus off the economy and unemployment,"

So, okay, point taken.

The Washington Bacon is just another Reich-wing POS propaganda rag funded by egotistical Reich-wing uber-rich and employing hate-mongers and race-baiters as editors and 'reporters. The editor of this POS propaganda rag praises BALD FACED LIARS like Breitbart, O’;Keefe, Glen Beck, Bowtie Carlson. Sure as hell doesn’t have a shred of credibility.

And of course the propaganda line that runs through the article is nonsense and fails to backup their headline...in fact the figures they cite DISPROVES the headline. Details here: http://mediamatters.org/blog/201205240006

The Repukes have been waging a war on women ever since they successfully appealed to the racists to gin up support and began politicizing the abortion issue. And of course they fought equal pay and opportunity and equal rights like a bitch! The use of the term just flares up when the do some expectantly egregious.

The latest Gallup shows: These data, from an analysis of Gallup Daily tracking interviews conducted April 11-May 24, show that 24% of all adult men are veterans, compared with 2% of adult women.

Obama and Romney are tied overall at 46% apiece among all registered voters in this sample. Men give Romney an eight-point edge, while WOMEN OPT FOR OBAMA OVER ROMNEY BY SEVEN POINTS. It turns out that the male skew for Romney is driven almost entirely by veterans. Romney leads by one point among nonveteran men, contrasted with the 28-point edge Romney receives among male veterans. http://www.gallup.com/poll/154904/Veterans-Gi...

Not exactly true, if you look at the category of the poll you see that it is "veterans" no the general public.

The correct statement should be: Women veterans opt for Obama over Romney by seven points.
