Not to worry.

Rahm Emmanuel will FIX the problem quickly.

He will tell them what HE WANTS and they will DO it because HE says so.

Day ONE of the strike and counting .....

Well, MAYBE tomorrow .... OR the next day ... OR the next day, etc.

Come on Rahm, you already TOLD them what you want. Why aren't they listening????

Maybe it's time to teach the children about unions and how they work. And teach all the peoples who take teachers for granted what they deal with on daily basis. GO TEACHERS AND FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS!!!

for Romney to say. He has never needed to work for a living. It is idiotic to demonize teachers.

Romney better be careful, lots of those Chicago grade schoolers can vote,

New York Times probably has the 6th grades numbers favoring Obama by a fairly wide margin.

nope,
Maybe in NM, but Chicago is going down academically, up might justify your comments.

The strike more than likely indicates harder times than the government figures show.

But, bottom line, the teachers voted for the results and will continue to do so, so much for education.

NONE of Chicago's "Charter Schools" are closed.

No strikes going on with them !

Maybe all Chicago's Schools should join the CHARTER program !

dingbat. By their choice of profession you know that money is not their big motivator and the strike is about a lot of thinngs.

So they are greedy but we should cut taxes for the rich even more because they're not greedy?

How dumb can you be?
