Boehner plans on taxing the middle class an additional $800,000,000,000 on top of what we are already paying. If he took every penny from the middle class he couldn't make that much. What would he do with it anyway; buy another yacht?

Boehner did not renew the Bush tax cuts, Obama did. Why don't Obama list what he will cut in entitlements. He is a coward. All the money he is fighting for is not going to the deficit, it's going to more wastful spending which will devalue the dollar and bring a third downgrade of our credit rating. You fools with your 430 beacon scores don't understand what your voting for candy did to your country.

I love it when the inbred childre are against the truth and logic. They post their judgements to the poster and not the post. Children will be children, expecially when they can't compete.

It's how they run and hide.

Him and the President. The Presidents own health care plan has already caused my health insurance rates to go up, seen my militray Tricare payments also go up.
Both parties are raising taxes on the middle class. At least Boehner isn't lying about it.

Glad we had an election, and re-elected the President that proposed raising taxes on the wealthy, that can afford it.....

Obamacare just raised your health care premium by $63
posted at 12:41 pm on December 11, 2012 by Mary Katharine Ham
If you’re a member of the mainstream media, you’re “surprised” by this in the same way that every bad jobs report is “unexpected.”

Among the regulations being rushed out the door by the Department of Health and Human Services 32 months after Obamacare passed is a requirement that every plan in America be subject to a $63 fee. That $63 is part of a fund to subsidize people with pre-existing conditions, who are more expensive to cover but whose costs must be transferred to healthier individuals in the new system.

Reporting suggests the costs could hit 190 million health care plans held by individuals or provided by employers. The AP:

the "fiscal cliff" will be the best thing that ever happened to the US economy.
it's like the reset button.

it'll be more like a fiscal anthill to more than 75% of the population.

Ah, Sir Dunderdome is back! First of all, it is the Republicans who are demanding cuts in entitlements. Therefore, it is their responsibility to tell us which ones. They have been afraid to be specific, with good reason.

Moreover, au (may I call you "au"?), it is the Republicans who were responsible for the credit downgrade. But what are we to believe, your flights of fictional fancy, or recent history?

2009-2011 The Left is in full spin mode to hide the downgrade's obvious cause — the "massive two-year binge of deficit spending embarked on by President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid," says Robert Stacy McCain at The Other McCain. During the debt-ceiling debate, instead of dealing honestly with the debt problem, Obama insisted Republicans were trying to "steal Granny's Social Security check" so the rich could keep their corporate jets. "Democrats don't want to fix the problem, they want to score political points against Republicans."

The republicans did NOT vote for any of that spending during those two years. Dems caused the downgrade completely.

Republican refusal to raise the debt ceiling caused the credit downgrade.

Raise the debt ceiling....we go to "A." You'll find books on countries that taxed and spent their way to properity in the fiction section. Wolf, you played too much pool in the student lounge when you should've been in economics class. Probably lost to a republican.

Try a little history, I know it's a tough subject for you home schooled inbreds...

According an analysis of historical data compiled on the statutory limit by the Office of Management and Budget, former President Ronald Reagan outstrips all other executives to date, increasing
the debt ceiling by 199.5 percent during his eight years in office.

Obama had a total increase of 47.5 percent over his first term — less than half of the increase that Reagan oversaw during his first four years..

But the Earth is only 6000 years old and you fell off the flat side.

Reagan had to contend with a spendthrift Democrat Congress that wouldn't stop spending. The Democrats gave Reagan his tax cuts..they also gave him nice big deficits. Reagan had massive cold war to fight, and won. The left hates Reagan yet now at trying to make him sound like one of you?? Right, and Africa is a country!! Reagan Presidency brought more debt; it also ended the Cold War which ended billions and billions in Defense expenditure and Arms Race, which surely would be an immense burden on our Debt Problem.

Reagan did not outspend the total of all presidents before him.
Reagan was not in these times of a seemingly unpatriotic president who gives away taxpayers' money at the drop of a hat.
Reagan would never have insulted senior citizens by threating their peace of mind with threats of withholding their paychecks.
OBAMA IS NO REAGAN.

Senator Obama voted AGAINST raising the debt limit.

So the democrats see more wisdom in Reagan than in Obama? Very interesting. At least there is something both sides can agree on

LMAO....What history classs was that again??

First of all, I made a pretty decent living shooting pool as an adolescent. It paid for reform school.

Secondly, presidents of this country have historically had the routine assent from Congress to raise the debt ceiling when it was necessary to avoid default. Somehow, the country has survived. This time, if your plutocratic buddies try to prevent raising the debt ceiling, two things will happen:
- they will lose the battle;
- they will lose the war of upcoming elections for quite awhile.
(Hmmm. Maybe they should try it at that.)
