Has Detroit's fever for Barack Obama waned since 2008?
The starry-eyed fervor that could be seen four years ago among customers lined up to buy fuel at a Detroit gas station on Plymouth and Wyoming roads isn't there anymore.

Well, a few may have learned that Obama is not about to come out and personally fuel up their MKZ or Taurus. Nor is he about to pay their rent. Still, it is predicted by some that 95% of blacks will still vote for Obama of those who vote. It's strictly a color issue for them. They will move the facts around in their heads to agree with what they feel compelled to do anyway-vote for the black guy.

Very few lawn signs, bumper stickers, not much discussion, very different from 3 years ago...
