I talk to alot of folks I know how they feel about being unarmed when the bad guys come to do evil.We don't have time to wait on the cops we have to defend ourselves. You have a gang of thugs busting into people's home these Days and need we a gun that can mow them dogs down.

I agree we should closely monitor who buys a gun. Make it a 3 hour long process, I don't care. However, don't control it to he point where I cannot have a means to protect myself or my family. My burglary alarm was set off at 6:49 yesterday morning while I was at work. ADT called me after calling the sheriff department, I arrived at the house at 7:23 with no sign of law enforcement. They never responded and this has happened all over the country. If our law enforcement isn't concerned with protecting the citizens of our country and it is left to us to protect ourselves, are we supposed to do so with a stick? News flash for Washington, criminals are criminals. If they want a firearm, they will get one. Do you think they care because the government said "No you can't have one."? NO! All you will do by restricting our rights is prohibit the law abiding citizens from being able to protect themselves. It is beyond me how you are so incredibly blind that you cannot see that.

Nearly 6 out of 10????? Since polls can only be done by whole people this really means that less than 6 out of 10 back tougher laws. Less than 6 would have to be 5. That would also mean that 5 out of 10 do not back tougher laws.
