57% of Americans want the automatic cuts to go through, because neither party can be trustd to cut taxes, and stop spending us into oblivion.

LOL

Just wait until all those private companies working for the government see their contracts disappear. All the Teabaggers will be begging for BIG GOBMINT, once again!!!!

Gobmint doesn't build roads, private companies do with gobmint money, tax dollars.

Now Republicans lose jobs and Democrats lose jobs.

Looks like the Teabaggers are going to guarantee a Democratic victory in the midterms this time.

Obammy sure can play the fools.

You mean like 2000-2008, the one that gave us the lost decade and couldn't read a teleprompter? Reagan (the great deficit spender) was the master of the teleprompter. Dubya* not so much. Couldn't read what Cheney wrote for him.

*According to Urban Dictionary...

Slang term for the most inept president the United States has ever had. George "Dubya" Bush

So, how is Obama going to HELP make the sequester less painful for Americans?
Is he cutting his own pay?
Using Air Force One only when ABSOLUTELY necessary?
Obama uses words to give the impression that he is helping, but his actions show he only is helping himself and his cronies.
<open your eyes and stop eating that manure he is spooning out>
Clinton raised the pay for the president AFTER he left office and Dubya took it. Why didn't BIG GOBMINT Dubya refuse the pay raise that the Democrats gave the president?

Dang, read some of these posters and it's no wonder Republicans have been taking a shellacking for years! Their lights are on, but no one's home, and racist to boot! All that's left of the GOP are conscienceless shills of billionaires.

Pssssssssst, your Halliburton stocks will take a hit because of sequestration. LOL Shoot yourselves in the foot much? LOL

Big spending only becomes an issue when blacks are presidents. Reagan and Dubya were masterspenders and no one cared. They convinced us that inflation would take care of the deficits. We believe it when Republicans are in office, not so much when blacks are in office. What we need is a war tax. Any company that made profits between 2000 and 2012 should pay for the last two unnecessary wars.

If you remember the Topix loons have repeatedly told us that Obama ordered that ICE round up nothing but illegals that are criminals........what does that say to the safety of Americans and liberal's fight against the second amendment when they announce they let thousands of the criminals back on the streets.........

If Congress approval rating is really so low, how come almost everyone gets re-elected?

Now that the above posters have vented their bile and stupidity, I remind you that the people out there are with Obama. May he win out over the hate, bigotry, ignorance, and greed that beset those who make this country an embarrassment to good and decent people.
LW, noted racially-charged insult spewer ("learn to walk upright", island man) weighs in with his usual nutty, off-topic, hate-filled crapola.

This is a representative democracy and Obama was not elected dictator. He won a narrow election with a lot few votes and a much smaller margin than he did in 2008. He has not done one single thing to create any kind of compromise. That's why we are deadlocked. It's not because of his opponents "hate, bigotry, ignorance and greed". That's just YOUR hate talking.

Sure they did.

And the Topix moderators pulled all these opinions down or you could prove it, right, Dumbo?
