If a liberal was doing this do you think Roll Call would characterize this filibuster as a "spectacle"?Of course not.The liberal media would call it a noble endeavor. But coming from a conservative its a "spectacle".

Well look at the Brightside… you have discredited fox news whose rating are going down the toilet… plus, you wouldn’t like being on the same side as the Mail Stream Media, they deal in facts and reality… and you’re a pathetic loser who voted for the loser Romney.

Gulags and concentration camps are in our future. So the minions like yourself so consumed in partisan politics are "fiddling while Rome burns". The problem with humanity is that it does not know when to stop for optimate results in movements. It usually passes the point of sane thoughts and moves to ludicrous results and then disaster. if you are that blinded by the movement of our government to tyranny, then you are no better then the German citizens who let Hitler into power. No better then the communists into Russia. Or into China. Giving up freedom is so much easier for a small caveat then getting it back. Because getting it back means death and carnage after death and carnage is prescribed by the state. If you believe in a maker, may he have mercy on your soul.

For those that do not understand the argument and continue to play the D versus R game. Here is something that has been long forgotten:

There are questions of what Paul is also. At worse he gives a few crumbs back in a nation heading towards massive decisions on its own.

If Bush, McCain, or Romney were in the White House, do you think Republicans would support this filibuster AT ALL?

Be honest.

.....and liberal clowns wonder why patriotic Americans want to keep their guns.
No, "liberal clowns" wonder why right-wing goons with guns think they're going to fight back against their government and its military with a few .45s and hunting rifles.

We ALSO wonder a LOT whether you'd be so upset about this if a Republican were President...

Agree it is not "D v. R." Republicans decrying this stuff now would be delighted about it if McCain or Romney were President. And too many Dems are accepting, if not supporting it even though they'd be furious of a Repubbie were in the White House.

This is about our future, about the military/security state, and about the Constitution. We need to QUESTION THIS SERIOUSLY.

yea a rag tag bunch of poorly trained poorly equipped untested ungrateful colonist who didnt have a gost of a chance against a well trained war hardened european superpower. they shouldnt have revolted because thay had no chance of winning back during the american revolution. The fact is there are many more armed citizens than their are Us goverment military who would fight against the armed citizens. Many us military would desert and join the revolt. And many like me even knowing that we cant win will still fight back. we would fight till the bitter end better to be dead than red.

A moral conviction is rare in the Elite Washington Ruling Class. Filibusters are rare because the ruling class is lazy.

LOL! Are you really this stupid?

The minutemen had mustkets, some pistols, swords, got hold of some cannon, and that put them almost on a par, weapons-wise, with their opponents.

For YOU to do that (IF you had the courage, which is debateable), you'd have to get hold of F-16s, subs, all sorts of automatic weapons, tanks, bombs, and heavy artillery. You'd also have to get ahold of an ally like France who was armed on a par with our government AND willing to risk nuclear war to help you overthrow your OWN GOVERNMENT, asshat.

And American troops aren't going to fight each other for you, as the French were willing to fight the British. That's PURE fantasy.

Utterly clueless, that's you.

I'm so surprised at the "Patriotic" libbies on here. They see no problem with messiah wanting to use drones to kill Americans for any reason anywhere.
I bet it would be different if the President was a Republican.

Shame on you freedom haters!
