Another reason why Romney lost is do to the large egos of talk radio hosts, who are totally out of touch with the rank and file Rep rural southern workers... I've been all throughout the back rural roads of the South, where you still have southerners living like the people in the movie 'Deliverance'... Rebel Flag type folks, and others... They are poor and raw...like that song 'A country boy will survive'...types... But these egotistical out of touch millionare talk show hosts keep telling them, kept telling them... 'Oh duh...you don't pay taxes'.... How do you think that rang with them? Anyone, at the fiscal bottom, who busts their butts doing physical labor jobs, come home tired and sweaty, doing all they can within their abiliity to provide for their family...just to hear Rush, Sean, Bortz, tell them...'Oh duh...you don't pay taxes'....totally implying that they're skatting by.... It's an insult to people... And these talk show hosts say it in a condescending way...as if you should be happy for Berney Madoff types, or Oil Executive types or paper trading wall street types, who earn more in a year in commissions than most will their whole lives... And somehow poor people who work hard and labor, and will never realize their dreams, are suppose to feel sorry for billionares?? That's why many secretly voted against Romney...cause these out of touch, multi millionare talk show hosts insult the very people who listen to them...

Romney lost not because of his flip flopping but because he relied mostly on the white christian vote, his rhetoric oozed with it. The guy wanted to deconstruct abortion rights, which alienated women. He did nothing to get the latino vote nor the black vote nor the asian vote. Then the 47% of Americans comment, totally bad move. Another thing is in hard economic times more people do rely on government assistance. So every person who loses their job and needs assistance was a voter for Obama, the hard economy only enlarged their numbers. Another thing was Obama catered to the diversity our country has something Romney could care less about. I remember I saw Romney kissing a little white baby, then I thought would he kiss a arab, asian, or black baby. I cant see it, i think no. I don't think Romney is racist but he could care less about the black, latino, and asian community's. And that is why he failed.

Fortunately, even though Obama signed the bill in secret and tried to circumvent Congress by claiming it was an executive agreement, rather than a Treaty which would have require the good people of Europe rose up and the politicians backed down. The bill was abandoned. "The ACTA protests were a gigantic event in Europe...". Really? I live in Europe, follow the news and current affairs and I have no idea what you are talking about. The European Parliament rejected ACTA, but protests? Nope, none of them that I know of. Btw, the Federal Reserve has bailed out NO European banks, that is the job of national government and the EU over here. Whether it has bailed of foreign branches of American banks, I have no idea. Sometimes a little dodgy to post your opinions as facts when there are Europeans on here who know the accuracy (or in this case, inaccuracy) of what you post.

bottlecap wrote: It now appears that there was VOTE FRAUD in the Allen West race. Significant enough to get a recount. Al Gore got two recounts, certainly a "real' black man deserves one too. Nope - West claims there is voter fraud - very different from there being voter fraud. Possible, after the shinannigans in Florida over Bush's election. However, a claim is not a fact. Or are you so desperate to avoid examining why the Republicans lost on 6 November, you need to use this as if it is substantiated fact?

What do you think created the building boom? Not low interest rates or the dems pushing mortgages on low income earners, it was educated individuals who didn't want to raise families in the filth of cities. Grow up and get out more. Get a life son and grow up. I have eight years College behind me and your post is out of line. Unregistered troll? Figures. I presented the FACTS so keep voting for Republicans and keep losing. Americans do not care. It is a statistical fact that small Town America IS UNEDUCATED! PERIOD! THAT'S WHERE MOST OF WELFARE TAKES PLACE TOO!

Romney lost because of the 47%, that was too big of a headstart to overcome. Now that the non taxpayers outvote the taxpayers, bad things are gonna happen fast. you heard it here first.

THAT'S WHERE MOST OF WELFARE TAKES PLACE TOO! Really, take a trip to inner city Baltimore, flatbush in NY, Miami, LA and so on. Big cities have the majority of dependents, section 8 housing, and ghettos. If the republicans decide to "support" the dependency and go against free markets, maybe they would win in the short term, but the bottom line, America loses. You claim to have 8 years college, yet you lack life experience, no fear, you will acquire it over time. Just so you know, I own a small business, have for 25 years in robotics. That is why I am not registered, but have always been CBOW and always will be. Plenty of trolls on here are registered, it doesn't make them any less of a troll. As far as being out of line, you post anything, your ideas and opinions are fair game to anybody reading them, so buck up and accept it. It's one of the drawbacks to being heard.

I agree with the slimming down of entitlements, especially generational welfare, foodstamp abuse and particularly section 8 housing.....But, until the republican's quit being the bodyguards of the corporate wealthy....until they become the party of all americans.....and when they slap down, the snotty, House republican's who stalled our economic recovery and displayed favoring party politics, over serving the country.....They will remain Number #2.....

I don't see the dem party as the party of ALL AMERICANS, only the entitled, just as you claim that repubs only cater to corporate wealthy. The repubs are for the business owner, no matter how big or small. Do they cater to corporations. Yes, and this is why. The majority of employees choose to work for corporate America because they have "all the benefits". Small business owners, especially ones that choose to be sole proprietorships pay higher taxes. They have less to work with when it comes to re-investing. Americans have chosen the path we're on when it comes to free markets. We gave the corporations and politicians the very fuel it took to ignite a global economy.

I appreciate the perils of the demand for open and free market's and where that has led....but, to say the democrats are the party of only the entitled, just loses me.....too snotty and too divisive, and just not honest....
