Where is the hell are you getting your numbers from?
Here's a dose of reality for you. I'm just going to cite one example. The company I work for just finished drilling a discovery well that costed over 500 million dollars to just drill it. That doesn't include the cost of establishing production and all the drilling to develop the field. On top of that, every well isn't a discovery. You have to drill the dry holes, too. Average cost for a dry hole is between 200 and 300 million dollars.
Your numbers obviously are taken solely from production costs after the well is drilled and tested, and combined with on-shore shallow fields. Today, the big field discoveries that are keeping the value of oil low are in deep water, and those wells cost a minimum of 200 million dollars to drill. The cost of drilling a deepwater well in at a minimum 1.5 million dollars each day.
I don't know what ignorant Marxist is giving you your information, but they are making you look like an ignorant buffoon.
Now, let's take a look at that $0.07 dollars from each barrell of oil the oil company gets. That has to support the transport of the finished product, the refininig, the transport of the crude oil, the development of the field, the drilling of the discovery well, and the 3 to 5 years of planning prior to drilling the discovery well.
You're getting a bargain. Imagine if someone like Bill Gates ran the oil companies with his 28 percent profit margin, instead of the oil companies operating on 10 to 15 percent profit margin. You'd be skinned alive every time you filled up with gas.
Do you think anyone in their right mind believes this bull shit? Maybe you've drilled a hole in your head? Be reminded ...this is from a white man people. Can you trust anything they say?

News flash, we're a country, and need to protect our own interests. This means not allowing companies to get away with bull**** like outsourcing. It can be stopped, simply by enacting laws. The easiest of these is ending free trade agreements, which have merely led to companies ceasing production in the US.
Oh, bullshit.
If your interest was the country, then you wouldn't be leading the way to having the most ignorant workforce in the undustrialized world. It's a no-brainer the United States will loose prominence in the global economy because our most expensive education system in the world generates the most ignorant workforce in the industrialized world.
The more ignorant the workforce becomes, the lower the standard that workforce will be supported in the global economy.

If you were really interested in EARNING a high living standard, then you wouldn't be leading the destruction of our education system, you goddam treasonous idiot fraud.

What every community needs is a community organizer that will lead the people of that community to a higher standard of education and toward self-reliance.
... offhand, I can't think of anyone who has done that.

Fix the education system, restore what used to be the traditional American work ethic, and every goddam problem you whine about will be fixed.

News flash. The economy is global. Companies operate in several countries.
If you want to keep jobs here, get off your f**k*ng ass and become worth more than you are now. Qualify yourself to actually do the goddam job. Nobody's going to give you the job if you can't do the job. If the guy next to you does the job better than you, I'm not going to hire your worthless ass.
So, tell us why companies have to send jobs to other countries when we have 300 million people here.
Education?
Work ethic?
... unions?
What do you think is the reason an American company sends work to a foreign country now, when they built themselves with the previous generation of Americans? What has changed about Americans to cause this?
You are asking the wrong question. It's not what has changed with the American worker, the question is why did companies move to China? China is a communist country so the communist government forces poor people to work in factories for $2 a day and they have to live at the factory because they are forced by the communist government to work 16 hours a day. And, there are no work rules, no overtime pay, no minimum wage. The reason communist China opened up to capitalism is because of the Soviet Union collapsing. Whens the Soviet Union went into total collapse it scared other communist countries badly so they looked for a new economic model.

The mistake the tea party makes is it is mainly older people who have union pensions which are based on a minimum base, based on a minimum wage, they have the protection of unions, they also receive a ton of socialism from the government, and then they want to try to make younger people work for no minimum wage and work like slaves in China do. Well, we are not communist, we have labor laws and you can't very well have older people in this country demanding they get to live fat on several pensions - union and government pensions and be on government medical care, and then say that other people should not have those things available to them. The idea that if you make other people work for $2 an hour here that somehow makes us competitive with China, that is insane thinking. If people made $2 an hour, they would literally be paying nothing into SS and Medicare, so the old folks would not get SS and Medicare. If you end unions on young people, no one is paying into union pensions, the union pensions would end on old people. If average wages in areas are reduced by 80 percent due to ending the minimum wage, then homes would be worth the average wage. A home worth 100,000 would be worth $5,000 if the average wage is $4 an hour. Wages determine home values. You can't try to harm young people to compete with China.

What will end globalization is the fact that cheap oil has run out. Now that oil is no longer $20 a barrel, it's more like $110 a barrel, China will no longer be able to afford the transport costs of shippping its items around the world. The end of cheap oil means the end of globalization, it means job sharing, the end of growth for the world at large, and it means localization, growing and making things locally.

The oil companies value is based on how many oil reserves are left. Okay, well most of the oil reserves around the world are owned by nations, nationalized, not owed by the major oil companies. For example, Iraq, Iran, Venezuela, the people own the oil, the government owns the oil not private companies. So Exxon and BP were going to go out of business unless they could do one of two things. One, open our national parks so they can frack for shale oil, which is NOT cheap oil, or invade Iraq which holds 20 percent of the remaining oil in the world. So Bush invaded Iraq, ran up trillions of debt on the nation because Exxon and BP paid to get him elected so he got them the oil in Iraq. Now today Exxon and BP control that oil and we don't get any benefit from it.

This reminds me of when Bill Clinton gave Kim Sung Il a basketball signed by Michael Jordan... and that was after Kim kidnapped that Japanese movie director so he could make a movie about himself, but before North Korea detonated their first nuclear bombs testing their H-bomb triggers, which were the nuclear tests recently, too.
H-bomb triggers.

Cheap oil has run out. The ONLY oil left is deep water drilling, fracking for shale oil and processing sand tar oil which involves strip mining and using tons of natural gas and water to process. That's why the price of gas is not going down even though we are fracking for shale oil in the U.S.

Add in global warming, the droughts from that, the expenses of cleaning up extreme weather disasters, the people in the U.S. being way dumbed down and undereducated, and yet having to pay a whole lot more for food and for gas due to the end of cheap oil and due to the costs of global warming weather disasters and droughts, the people in this country will be financially hurting big time. Only the rich will be able to afford to buy food and gas.

The other thing is that with triple digit oil prices from here on out, no country will have big GDP growth ever again. It can't be done. China just tried to grow again with triple digit oil prices and it had to stop immediately. So this idea that we can somehow pay back $16 of debt based on future growth is nuts. There is no more growth. We have used up all of the cheap oil, we have destroyed the coral and oceans in total, we are running out of top soil, out of water, out of everything. It's going to be people dying off after like ten years of people being dirt poor, too poor to have cars and too poor to afford a lot of food. We are at the end of growth and when we have to default on our debt, we can't borrow anymore money, that means cutting $1 trillion a year in spending immediately, and that means cutting SS and Medicare all up. The old folks who live fat right now will no longer be able to live fat off of the government in a few more years.

No. Korea is back in the 1940s. They don't have heat in their buildings, no TV, no Internet, no nothing. The people are starving so they threaten us to get more food from us. If you ONLY look at the TV and don't ever read books written by people who have been studying things for decades, you can only repeat the one liner stuff that is made up on the fake news channels. They are all owed by the corporations and the people are told what to say, what stories do do, they are told to spread hate and fear. That is why people think John Bolton is some credible person when Fox has him on all of the time going on and on about "fear No. Korea, fear Iran, never ending wars, the war on terror must never end." He is not credible, not one bit, and no one else would say stuff like that. That is all for the war profiteers to have a war that is not ever going to end, meaning no bid cost plus contracts for Hailburton and the other 200,000 contractors that were in Iraq will go on forever. We can spend 1.3 trillion year on making those war companies richer and richer if the people on Fox can get you to fear No. Korea and Iran, they can have war after war after war and it's profits forever for them off of running up governemnt debt. That is not exactly free market capitalism.

The wars made millionaires into billionaires. Outsourcing jobs to China also made millionaires into billionaires. WE didn't used to have billionaires. That is relatively new. Also, the people who made both commissions and then huge bonuses on giving out bad home loans, they made tons of money off of blowing up the housing market, and, as I said, Exxon and BP were able to get control of the oil in Iraq so they were able to stay in business by having us invade Iraq for them and them getting ahold of nationalized oil. What a pile of crap.

So why would the rich take the U.S. down with war profiteering, outsourcing to China and with commissions and bonuses for bad mortgages?? That is the real quesion. Why would the rich take the country down? What would be coming along that would be so big, so disturbing that the rich would want to go from being millionaires to billionaires and they would feel like they need all the money in the world to protect them? That is the question you have to ask.

The answer is the end of oil. The end of cheap oil, peak oil is why the rich took the U.S., why the rich have abandoned the U.S. That's why there is no more middle class. When the uber rich decide they no longer want a middle class, in other words, they no longer care about a nation staying standing by having a middle class, they eliminate the middle class wages and take their jobs out of the country.

Oil going from $20 a barrel to $150 a barrel was the game changer for the rich. Oil makes the world go round. We use it to grow food, for transportation, in manufacturing. Without cheap oil, everything stops. So at the point of peak oil worldwide, the rich would want to horde most all of the money. That's where we are now.

It's not a matter of looking at the TV or fighting over Dems or Repubs. You have to look at it like Why did the Roman Empire collapse? Why did the rich take ALL the wealth in the Soviet Union 2-3 years before it collapsed? Because when the rich and powerful find out a nation is collapsing, they take all the money out for themselves. And the easiest way to do that is to use our government, our military to make tons of money off of wars. And, if you are an oil company that has run out of cheap oil, what to do? Elect and own the president and use our military to invade the country that hates us that has 20 percent of the world's oil reserves and get control of that oil for yourself. This is the game that they are playing.

They want people to work for $2 an hour. I have talked to Tea Party people in person and this is how they are. They are all old and on union pensions and all on Medicare and on VA pensions and on Social Security pensions but they want young people to work for like $2 an hour. Their thinking is that if they can keep the big $50-$100,000 a year in pensions they get and keep the free government health care they get and make young people go without all of those things and work for nothing, then we can compete with China. They have low, low IQs. They don't think about how that would defund the things that they are on, and they want everyone else to go without everything that they get. They just want to get everything for themselves and dump all over young people. They think if they they end SS and Medicare on everyone under 50 that there is some pot of gold sitting there that they will be able to get and screw everyone else.

When a country starts collapsing, people break up into groups fighting over who will get the government money and each group says they are the one who is the most entitled.

Senate Republicans on Thursday blocked the No.1 item on the president's congressional "to-do-list," refusing to allow a vote on a bill that would give tax breaks for companies that "insource" jobs to the U.S. from overseas while eliminating tax deductions for companies that move jobs abroad.

As for 80% of Alaska, let's look at that number with a little more scrutiny, shall we?

a) Alaska has 731,449 residents.
b) This makes up exactly 0.2% of the nation's population.

What is more, She didn't even finish a single term as Executive of the State of Alaska. Congratulations for choosing an, apparently illiterate, quitter as the standard to live by.
