<quoted text>How dumb are you ??? the tea party uprising was caused by the obama care mandate.....are you under a rock
The old tea party doesn't like Obamacare because it took money from the Tea Party's government Medicare. That's why everyone 65 and older voted for Romney. It was a fight over entitlements, the old people wanted Obamacare ended so the could get full Medicare and not have to pay much of anything for it, and they want all other government spending ended and they want social secuirty and medicare ended on everyone except for them. Everyone votes for who will give them government money and Ryan promised to give only people 55 and older SS and Medicare since the government is broke, and so the old people voted for it. How dumb are YOU?? Get a clue.

The good news it it did not work, so the young don't have to take all of the spending cuts and the rich old people (who have most of this country's money and who receive 7 times more money when they are on SS and Medicare than young people on welfare receive), now those uneducated non-taxpaying rich old folks can take some of the spending cuts, as well they should. This was just greedy old people who in today's job market would be worth nothing more than minimum wage trying to horde ALL the tax money for themselves being on local and state pensions, on VA pensions, on SS, on Medicare and on Medicaid. It was a battle between the young who get relatively nothing and the old who suck up about 80 percent of the tax money and borrowed money.

Anne Coulter said on Hannity's show that in five more years Social Security and Medicare will be using up 97 percent of the federal budget, and that is your tea party. The tea party wants to use up 100 percent of tax money on their socialism, on them getting SS money and government pensions and Medicare.

David Frum said all of it last week on CNN. He said the tea party is mainly on SS and Medicare and they were claiming they were the most entitled to government stuff, and the REpubs told them yes, they would give only them the government stuff.

The big debt is in the big socialist programs - in Social Security and in Medicare. Medicare is far worse than SS. It has over $100 TRILLION (with a T) in unpaid for promises to the tea party folks. So if you don't like socialism, don't count on getting socialist security and government Medicare. There are NO other programs that have unfunded liabilities like that. That's where the big, huge problems are, and they are the drivers of the debt. So if people keep saying they hate socialism, they have to deal with the $121 trillion of unpaid for promises in socialist security and in government Medicare.

It makes you people look like utter idiots to keep asking for SS and Medicare when that is socialism and that is where our huge debts are.

Instead of saying you want spending cuts, but not to SS, Medicare and to the military, which equals 80 percent of the federal budget, why not simply admit you want big huge spending, big huge socialism, which is THE TRUTH.

If you all are demanding $5-6 TRILLION a year be paid out to you in SS and Medicare, then number one, you love socialism, and, number two, you need to come up with a way to finance those gigantic social programs. Your real course of action is for the old people to be fighting for a VAT or national sales tax to fund that massive socialism they want. It makes less than zero sense to demand that stuff, refuse any plan of how to pay for it and to lie that you want spending cuts when those two programs will soon be using up 97 percent of the federal budget. You need to either march for a VAT or national sales tax to keep SS and Medicare, OR start to give those two programs up.

"He who does not work does not eat" has been going on since LONG before Captain John Smith. To be precise, it has been going on since the beginning of (and is the bedrock of) established civilization. The trouble is, civilization reached a point long ago where people have no other option but to participate; and it usually involves an unfulfilling occupation with the same amount or more anxiety than we faced as tribal nomads. Theoretically, if one wanted to go out on their own and take care of themselves with no traditional job or wealth and just live off the land not relying on anybody else for anything; SOMEBODY would come calling for them... be it a "private" owner for rent or a government for taxes. Because now, EVERYTHING is "owned" by someone (or something). We are all born into a world where we don't have a choice. All this talk about freedom and we aren't allowed that basic choice. We are all prisoners, really no better off than the people incarcerated in real prisons... we just have a little more freedom of movement.
thats right, "He who does not work does not eat" has been going on since LONG before Captain John Smith and that is what Karl Marx's said and why he didnt have to right nothing about Socialism it naturally exist even in Nature with wild animals.

Right, True Capitalism didnt work and Society reverted back to Socialism because the government got and had to get involved economically and what its no longer a Capitalistic Society we live in it just mimics it.

Some of these clowns commenting here are recanting revised history, only wishing they had a clue about the founding of America. One of the basic premises of Capitalism is private ownership of the Land and other resources. Early English settlers were not the owners of the land in chartered settlements. England retain all rights to the land and any other resource found to be of any value.

Capitalism has become the rich greed in America. No longer are the workers able to make a middle class living. It now takes a two family income ever since Reagan started the Trickle Down.

Reagan and the Republicans policies killed Mother Homemakers, and introduce America to Latch Key Kids.

Those same policies forced States and Local policing agencies to criminalize psychotic illness by de-funding mental health facilities and detaining those with mental illness who experienced psychotic episodes in prison.
