Didn't happen like that, Eric Cantor Virginia(R) was notified two weeks prior, after another was senator told the whistle blower to notify him. This is what happens when people use their spook positions for political agendas.

Patraeus' indiscretions wouldn't have made Obama's Administration look bad. Now, we will find the leak in the FBI that coordinated with Romney's campaign about the incident in Libya. Chain of Command violations. No FBI agent should have been walking the streets trying to tell that story. I'd say, Gen. Colin Powell knew, before he endorsed the President, he'd make an excellent CIA Director, if his endorsement wasn't motivated.

It is a shame that we are losing a great military
leader over something as ridiculous as this.

Yes, he already sold his soul and his country for his race.

Really? Did those terrorists infiltrate the FBI and hire a well known biographer to seduce the director of the CIA?

Then did they tell the FBI that the only person they should tell was the republican house majority leader?

Then let that majority leader decide that since the adulterer is a very well known republican leader and figure head, maybe it would be best for the "party of family values" to not have another scandal on their hands, right before election?

Oh oh oh!! Or maybe it's Obama that planned the whole thing with the terrorists? Because that way he could control the Benghazi information? Even though there is still nothing stopping the adulterer from testifying, and now the administration doesn't even have any authority over him to keep him in line.

Or maybe Obama accepted the resignation of a man that made a few to many personal mistakes, and wanted to concentrate his time and effort on his personal life? But I guess that's just to far fetched right?

I have a black and white dog named Obama. He crapped on my new Persian rug that I just had imported from Benghazi. He was mad because I ran out of his treats and hadn't gotten back from the store yet with his two favorites, Guinness and termites on a stick. He tried to cover the mess up with his toys and a pillow and whatever he could find. But it still stunk to high heaven. Now there is nothing to do but uncover it, deal with it, and punish that bad dog. My house is painted White. I cannot allow him back in it after what he did. BAD DOG. Where's my newspaper?

Lol!

That's great! I guess I should have figured you were great at making up stories!

Oh, and that white house, you think is yours! It's actually actually owned by your neighborhood, and all your neighbors just voted to let your dog back in, for the next four years, irregardless of your feelings about it.

And be careful, because your neighbors aren't real fond of people that make up stories about their dog shitting on the floor, just to make the dog look bad, and they don't really care if your dog is a mixed bread or not, but they do care that you seem to despise him because of it.

Before you know it, your neighbors may be chasing you right out of the neighborhood.

Now go clean your shit up off the floor! And put your old white depends back on, so you don't have an accident again!

Where we're all you people when Bush was covering up over 40 deaths, at multiple attacks on American embassies and consulates over seas?

Why is it now that you seem to give a shit about the lives of our citizens?

Forgive me if I think your outrage is just slightly politically motivated.

The only difference between the actions
Bush took, and Obama, is the color of the skin and the party affiliation of the guy in the white house.

So is it ok with you if people get killed while we have a white President? Or a republican one?

It's sad that at times like these our country used to come together, and now you use it as an excuse to hate.

Sure, there were 12 attacks on our embassasies under Bush, but how many deaths?

You don't care about the deaths of our diplomats as long as they're all white, you racist traitor.

I predict Rightie scum will try to make Petraeus the 'victim' of a 'lying, manipulating' Obama whom they're still obsessed with smearing and somehow 'beating' even AFTER the election.

That's just how Righties ARE....

Your post makes no sense, but appears to be some sort of attempt at race-baiting.

Given your past, at least, that SEEMS a safe bet...

Hundreds of thousands died under Bush, but you don't give a s--t about Iraq, Afghanistan etc. because they were brown-skinned Arabs and Muslims.

You don't care about blaming the President unless he's black, racist traitor.

Wow, calling someone a racist traitor for pointing out that you may be a racist traitor is incredibly original. Lol!

Over 40 deaths under Bush.. Believe I put that in the original comment? I know, numbers, confounding the right for decades now.

I care about the avoidable deaths of all Americans! Not just when it's politically expedient.

Not happy with Benghazi, wasn't happy with those that went before! Just curios why so many people that didn't even know that we lost people at American missions under any other administrations, decided to pay attention now.

Every time there is an attack, security is questioned, motives are questioned, timelines and responses are questioned. But this time your politicians seemed to be really intersted, and as usual, you sheeple fall right in line behind your shepherds.

Since there was no interest in those American deaths in the general population, we can factor it right down to you didn't give two shits about them!

There were no dead Americans in any of the embassy attacks suffered under the Bush administration.

There was no cover-up of any of the embassy attacks under the Bush administration.

There was no Bush administration attempt to minimize the embassy attacks.

Petraeus was the 'leak' of information to the media on Benghazi. His indescretions sealed his fate and the Obama administration lowered the boom after the election.

Those defending Petraeus shouldn't throw stones at Bill Clinton.

OMG, now Benghazi is Romney's fault. That is too bad, becuse Obama is facing Impeachment for it. Th Republicans will have to charge him for committing high crimes, and misdemeanors. I hope that silly broad knew what she was doing, because she cost th General his retirement, his marriage, his children, and his job.
