Bin Laden was smiling every day George Bush was president.

PS: The closest Buchanan got to being elected was writing speeches for Tricky Dick. He is another chicken hawk who dodged the draft.

When the President did discuss the prisoner exchange in 2011 the Congress said No, even some Democrats. Obama knew he wasn't going to get their permission so he ignored them. That's fine, but why lie about it. He lies about every aspect of his Presidency until it is nauseating.

The POTUS doesn't need to ask Congress to save American lives, stuipd Lying C*t74.

Both Reagan and Bush took this country to war without asking Congress what time it was.

Really, then he must have been really laughing his ass of while Clinton ignored his attacks and him being offered three times, but Clinton refusing to accept him. That one thing would have stopped 9/11.

By a decisive 20 percentage-point margin, Americans think the country is weaker under the leadership of President Obama, whose White House is seen as less competent than the previous two administrations.

These are just some of the findings from a new Fox News national poll.

Fifty-five percent of voters think the Obama administration has made America weaker. That includes 22 percent of Democrats, 59 percent of independents and 89 percent of Republicans.

Just over a third says the country is stronger under Obama (35 percent).

That’s a significant deterioration since 2010, immediately before the midterm elections, when voters said Obama had made America weaker by eight points (45-37 percent)(October 2010).

The new poll, released Wednesday, also finds that most voters -- 68 percent -- think the Obama administration is less competent than former President Bill Clinton’s administration. And a 48-percent plurality thinks it is less competent than former President George W. Bush’s.

It’s no surprise that most Democrats think Obama is more competent than Bush (76 percent) and that most Republicans think he’s less competent (81 percent). So what about independents? They say Obama is less competent than Bush by 47-34 percent. Another 14 percent say there’s no difference.

Majorities of Democrats (53 percent), independents (69 percent) and Republicans (84 percent) agree that Obama’s administration is less competent than Clinton’s.

of course you completely ignore the fact that we weren't aware that Osama bin Laden was responsible for any attacks on the U.S. at the time. He was only wanted by Saudi Arabia at the time. For all Clinton knew, he was still an ally of the U.S. that Presdient Reagan armed and trained

Unlike President Bush, President Clinton followed the law, we were a Nation that followed the rule of law. We didn't kidnap, imprison people without a trial and torture them. Just what crimes could President Clinton have charged Osama bin Laden with in 1998?

Bush knew within thirty feet of when Bin Laden was standing.

Clinton took a shot at him when he had it and after Bin Laden became a legislate target.

Bush stopped looking for him.

Clinton never stopped looking for him.

That is why the USA was in place a Tora Bora in the first place.

And where Bush let Bin Laden slip through our fingers.

PS: Clinton authorized a kill order after the Cole bombing in 2000.

Nonsense. He as Obama do not consider it a war but a law enforcement issue.

That is why he allowed al qaeda to learn to fly planes into buildings inside the US.

How else did they learn to fly planes if not for Clinton's ignorance?
