Fortunately, we live in Minnesota where there is no racism. Really. Just ask any white person. None of them are racists. None. Really. Just ask the Pioneer Press.

Give the liberals enough time and they will find racism in anything. Im thinking that card is getting well worn this year.

Obama lies. It is the simple truth. He stands there and boldly lies to the American people and the press are afraid to question him because they are afraid they would be called racist. They are enabling the decline of democracy. What happened to 'question authority' or 'dont trust anyone in government'?

gee. maureen dowd sure is a perceptive lady: she determined that everyone in the south is a racist who is scared of a black politician. she must be a real smart person to determine that over 100 million people are really just racist crackers!(isn't branding 100 million people a racist pretty much stooping to a level that she claims to be way, way above???)

Maybe Joe Wilson had also heard the mantra that "silence gives consent"?

The drumbeat of "Racism!" coming from the left is actually a sign that they are losing the argument. They can't win on the merits of their ideas, so they retreat to what they have always felt to be their "trump card." Ignore them.

"But, fair or not, what I heard was an unspoken word in the air: You lie, boy! "

Wow Moron Dud can now hear hidden messages and meanings. It's like playing a Beattles album backwards.

Smells like desperation.

One question for Modo. So is anyone who is opposed to his policies racist? If someone calls him a liar are they racist? Even a number of Dems think his healthcare bill stinks. I guess they are racists too.

It's been a half century since the civil rights movement began and people are now getting fed up with the racism charge. It's an excuse for failure. In the past the racism charge has worked to shut people up because nobody wanted to be labeled. But now there is an enough is enough attitude growing in the U.S. Yes there is racism and there always will be. We will never eliminate it 100% because it's impossible. And the dirty little secret (not really secret) is that blacks and other minorities are as racist as whites. And indeed in many cases even more so.

What happened to "trust, but verify"?

Conservatives aren't doing either, right now.

"The congressman, we learned, belonged to the Sons of Confederate Veterans, led a 2000 campaign to keep the Confederate flag waving above South Carolina's state Capitol and denounced as a "smear" the true claim of a black woman that she was the daughter of Strom Thurmond, the '48 segregationist candidate for president."

I think that's more then enough to make the claim. Don't you?

Dear, we bring our "hidden messages and meanings" to everything we do and hear. If we didn't, those who are hollerin' and screamin' and shouting on health care would stick to the subject of health care and leave out the not-so-hidden incendiary garbage. Wow that is a concept isn't it?

After all I can read you and others comments and though there is a scream of "no I am not a raecism" and "this is about health care" know there are "hidden messages and meanings" in what I read.

You don't need to hear a Beatles record backwards to figure some of this out - it is as clear as Jimi Hendrix!

Martin Luther King, Jr., was a racist? Rosa Parks was a racist? The first people of color to attend formerly all-white universities were racists? The first African Americans to sit at a whites-only lunch counter were racists? The African American children who needed National Guard protection to enter a formerly all-white elementary school were racists?

You're right, it's clear that anyone opposed to government running healthcare is racist. Hmm wonder why he can't get all the dems to agree with him either on it? Cuz they're racist!

As a non southerner I don't get the whole confederate flag issue. I think it's stupid and that they ought to get rid of it. But from that you gleen he's a racist? There are many Dems as well that for some reason don't want the confederate flag to go away. Are they all racists too?

That's the problem with trying to find hidden racsim behind everything. Is it possible that he is? Sure, but to make a mountain out of a molehill over a non racial comment smells like desperation to me. In fact now that it's looking less and less likely that healthcare will pass it seems just a bit too convenient that somehow all these people against governemtn run healthcare are now racists. It cheapens claims of actual racism. And if Obama's cheerleaders are going to go down this road everytime he runs into oppostion they are going to be in for a very difficult time.

Nope.

It was last week's rally in DC.

Even (Cluster) FOX "News" aired video that showed just a big ol' sea of Caucasians.

Hey...FOX'll show ANYTHING to assuage their captive audience.

Even when the signal drops, FOX's viewers get a screenful of white.

I'm guessing most of them tape it, so they can watch it.

Over.

And over.

And over again.
