if it makes you feel better, he was just continuing with the same program that Clinton started. but no one forced him to do it. and you wingnuts keep talking about Dems, but for 6 years Congress was republican and they did nothing. but if you want you can try to demonstrate how dems treated Bush like republicans now treat Obama. that will be a guaranteed hoot.
Don't forget Chrissy Dodd, and Chucky Schumer expounded in Congress that there was no problem with the Savings & Loans??

He did work in the private sector.

You want to argue that point or do you want to argue that only people who turn in time sheets work.

Where will the money come from to pay for Obama's government?

You do know that if this question isn't answered, the government collapses and the existence of the United States ends, right?

So, where will the money come from to pay for Obama's government?

It was a foregone conclusion that the United States was going to invade Japan and physically defeat it without consideration of the cost, in either US lives or Japanese lives. It was anticipated that there would be in excess of one million American casualties, and this was not a deterrent.
So, please tell us what your estimate is of the number of Japanese that would be killed when the United States invaded Japan and physically crushed the country.
10 million? 20 million? 30 million?
Then, compare that to the number of people killed by the two bombs that convinced Japan to surrender and end the war.

Well? How many Japanese lives were saved by the use of the two bombs?
... it's a simple arithmetic problem, dufus. What's your answer?
Who throw the bomb? A descent Republican or a brainless liberal democrat scum?

Hint: Democrats interned Japanese citizens and founded the KKK.

Where will the money come from to pay for Obama's government?

NOT PROPORTIONATELY.

as progressives continue to kill marriage except between same sex couples, the gap has decreased but is still signicant:

From MSNBC 2010:

‘72% of black babies are born to unmarried mothers today, according to government statistics. This number is inseparable from the work of Carroll, an obstetrician who has dedicated her 40-yr career to helping black women.

"The girls don't think they have to get married. I tell them children deserve a mama & a daddy. They really do," Carroll says from behind the desk of her office, which has cushioned pink-&-green armchairs, bars on the windows, & a wooden "LOVE" carving between 2 African figurines. Diamonds circle Carroll's ring finger.

As the issue of black unwed parenthood inches into public discourse, Carroll is among the FEW speaking boldly about it. & as a black woman who has brought thousands of babies into the world, who has sacrificed income to serve Houston's poor, Carroll is among the few whom black women will actually listen to.

Children of unmarried mothers of any race are more likely to perform poorly in school, go to prison, use drugs, be poor as adults, & have their own children out of wedlock. Dr. Natalie Carroll, an obstetrician practicing in Houston, encourages her patients to get married. "The girls don't think they have to get married. I tell them children deserve a mama & a daddy. They really do," Carroll says.

The black community's 72% RATE ECLIPSES that of most other groups: 17 % of Asians, 29 % of whites, 53 % of Hispanics & 66 % of Native Americans were born to unwed mothers in 2008, the most recent year for which government figures are available. The rate for the overall U.S. population was 41 %.

This issue entered the public consciousness in 1965, when a now famous government report by future senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan described a "tangle of pathology" among blacks that fed a 24% black "illegitimacy" rate. The white rate then was 4%.

Many accused Moynihan, who was white, of "blaming the victim:" of saying that black BEHAVIOR, not racism, was the main cause of black problems. That dynamic persists. Most talk about the 72% has come from conservative circles; when influential blacks like Bill Cosby have spoken out about it, they have been all but shouted down by liberals saying that a lack of equal education & opportunity are the true root of the problem. Even in black churches, "nobody talks about it," Carroll says. "It's like some big secret." But there are signs of change, of discussion & debate within & outside the black community on how to address the growing problem.

Statement of Administration Policy: H.R. 1461 - Federal Housing
Finance Reform Act of 2005

The Administration strongly believes that the housing GSEs should be focused on their core housing mission, particularly with respect to low-income Americans and first-time homebuyers. Instead, provisions of H.R. 1461 that expand mortgage purchasing authority would lessen the housing GSEs' commitment to low-income homebuyers.

http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/index.php...

wanna guess who sponsored it?

The House bill, the 2005 Federal Housing Finance Reform Act, would have created a stronger regulator with new powers to increase capital at Fannie and Freddie, to limit their portfolios and to deal with the possibility of receivership.

Mr Oxley reached out to Barney Frank, then the ranking Democrat on the committee and now its chairman, to secure support on the other side of the aisle. But after winning bipartisan support in the House, where the bill passed by 331 to 90 votes, the legislation lacked a champion in the Senate and faced hostility from the Bush administration.

Adamant that the only solution to the problems posed by Fannie and Freddie was their privatization, the White House attacked the bill. Mr Greenspan also weighed in, saying that the House legislation was worse than no bill at all.

Oxley isnÂ’t too happy about all the criticism Congress is getting for letting Fannie and Freddie get too big.

“All the hand wringing and bedwetting is going on without remembering how the House stepped up on this,” he says.“What did we get from the White House? We got a one-finger salute.”

<quoted text>Last week, Fox News asked Bush if he was worried about being the Herbert Hoover of the 21st century. "No," Bush replied. "I will be known as somebody who saw a problem and put the chips on the table to prevent the economy from collapsing."

Darrin West could not believe it. The president of the United States was standing in his living room. It was June 17, 2002, a day West recalls as "the highlight of my life." Bush, in Atlanta to introduce a plan to increase the number of minority homeowners by 5.5 million, was touring Park Place South, a development of starter homes in a neighborhood once marked by blight and crime.

West had patrolled there as a police officer, and now he was the proud owner of a $130,000 town house, bought with an adjustable-rate mortgage and a $20,000 government loan as his down payment - just the sort of creative public-private financing Bush was promoting.

"Part of economic security," Bush declared that day, "is owning your own home."

A lot has changed since then. West, beset by personal problems, has left Atlanta. Unable to sell his home for what he owed, he said, he gave it back to the bank last year. Like other communities across the United States, Park Place South has been hit with a foreclosure crisis affecting at least 10 percent of its 232 homes, according to Masharn Wilson, a developer who led Bush's tour. "I just don't think what he envisioned was actually carried out," she said.

I love it when you uninformed dumbass right whiners spout stuff you are obviously wrong about.

1) Obama worked for a private church group as a community organizer.

2) Obama worked for a private law firm as a lawyer.

3) Obama worked for a Private university as a lecturer.

4) Obama was self employed as a author & wrote a couple of best selling books.

Four examples of why you are so uninformed.

My God, are all you right whiners this frickin stupid?
