Stay the course, Republicans

Nov 8, 2012 Full story: New York Daily News 495

They lose and immediately the chorus begins. Republicans must change or die. A rump party of white America, it must adapt to evolving demographics or forever be the minority.

In other words if the Republican Party had offered a few crumb's they would have rolled over to vote Republican. The kid gloves treatment of illegals hasn't stopped the invasion. Without the rule of our laws, they will continue to come and take and give nothing in return. Conservatives must apply the principles that made the country great. It's a slippery slope. If we continue to give in to this group of lawbreakers, it's the same as committing suicide. This Country will never be able to care for the worlds poor. The stock market has already fallen and Europe is broke. And we the people are forced to babysit with kid gloves another Country's problem. It's nuts to me.

It is the education to the men and women from European background that sold their own out. They are so emasculated that questioning any issue is pushed as hate. Much of the equality love is based on high taxes and production from other nations.

It has already started. Sean Hannity said he has evolved and now supports immigration reform and a path to citizenship. Since he is a leader of the GOP that pretty much settles it.

It's time for creative, producing businessmen to drop out whenever possible. Let the freeloader thieves and do-nothings feed themselves on printed money. Shut down your businesses. Teach these doper taker's children a lesson they won't forget for another hundred years. Socialists are thieves. Socialists destroy democracies. Socialists make nations ripe for tyranny. Let's see if they can force us to run a business.

Do not follow the Repub party anymore. Come on! They had four years to figure it out! They are the same as the progressives and the media side for them is the same. Power is their aphrodesiac and they are lemons for the real elitists and world government. It is evident now.

That is exactly what is happening. Obama and the Democratic Party have taken an anti-business stance in order to win the votes of the ignorant and lazy. While that may give them power in Washington it has also shut down economic growth in this country. There are plenty of countries that are willing to allow companies to make a return on their investments without being taxed and regulated to death and that is where the money is going.
Obama's "You didn't build it" comment showed not only contempt for business owners but for the men and women who did build it. Not one piece of the infrastructure of this country could have been built if companies and individuals did not build and pay for it. To make a statement like that is like saying those who fight and die to defend this country are not the ones who preserve freedom. It is those who sit in Washington that preserve our freedom.

The stock market has doubled since Obama took office. Corporate profits are at record levels. Corporate taxes are at their lowest rate since the 1950's. If that is your idea of "anti-business" then businesses need more of that.

A rump party?

That is an interesting way to look at them.

This party needs to shake up the etch a sketch and get into the 21st century.

And, the day after the election and the day after that the Dow Jones average went down over 350 points. Try again. Corporate taxes in the US are still considerably higher than almost any other country in the world. Try again.

It has been widely reported that the drop was due to the European Commission issuing a report forecasting a 0.3% decline in economic activity in the European Union this year, and subdued growth in 2013. You forgot to mention that the Dow was up 140 points the day before and is up today also. Any serious investor knows that one day means nothing. Now if you sample over a four year period and find the market doubled in that time then you are onto something.

The fact that corporate taxes are at their lowest level in 50 years is beyond dispute as well as the fact that in the past four years there have been 18 different tax cuts that benefit businesses.

I own businesses located in four different countries. Ironically I just had to make a tax payment this morning. I would love to compare notes with you on international business tax rates. Please share your experiences with us.

If you can get a Gore to inspire them to totally abandon any consideration of P/E ratios, you can get them to live in several false economies. Just you wait until 16 Trillion turns into 21 Trillion and the widows and widowers run out of principle given as redistribution to Obama Ba'al because of his Fed policies.
