What a shocker. Someone comes up with a truly "common sense gun law" and "common nonsense gun laws" are being asked for. Give an inch...

Any and all so called common sense gun control initiatives only apply to the law abiding. Instead of enforcing the current laws Anti-gunners want to ban or restrict guns from the law abiding instead. Keeping NICS updated might be a good place to start.

Gun crime in the UK is up even though the law abiding were disarmed. The criminal element must have not gotten the notices to turn-in their guns. An unarmed populace is easy pickings in the UK.

The Met Police's figures showed there were 2,544 gun crime offences from April 2016 to April 2017 compared to 1,793 offences from 2015 until 2016.

One of Hillary Clinton's aids was recorded as saying that the gun control agenda is using the "common sense" gun laws legislation as a means to promote anti gun ownership legislation. Saying things like "we just want common sense gun laws to protect our children" to lower public resistance to opening legislation to change or repeal 2nd amendment in the Bill of Rights.

You might still be able to find this video on youtube. But if you try to post a link to it. Topix will remove it very quickly.

What the media does not want to talk about when bringing up the Sutherland Springs, Texas shooting massacre is that it took an armed neighbor of the church to stop the killer; not a law enforcement officer.

30,000?
Thanks for including police, self defense and suicides.
Telling lies to fluff your numbers makes you look desperate.
probably because the truth just can't support your agenda.

For gun violence the U.S. is #58 in the world.

Gun for gun ownership (300,000,000 in the U.S.) we have the very lowest "guns used to murder" per guns owned in the world.

With that kind of logic we should give away guns for free until every man, woman, and child has at least two, then we won't have any gun murders at all.

Keenesaw GA.
Kennesaw is noted for its unique firearms legislation in response to Morton Grove, Illinois' law mandating gun prohibition. In 1982 the city passed an ordinance.
In order to provide for the emergency management of the city, and further in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the city and its inhabitants, every head of household residing in the city limits is required to maintain a firearm, together with ammunition therefore.

KENNESAW, Ga - Several Kennesaw officials attribute a drop in crime in the city over the past two decades to a law that requires residents to have a gun in the house.

In 1982, the Kennesaw City Council unanimously passed a law requiring heads of households to own at least one firearm with ammunition.

The ordinance states the gun law is needed to protect the safety, security and general welfare of the city and its inhabitants.

Then-councilman J.O. Stephenson said after the ordinance was passed, everyone went crazy.

People all over the country said there would be shootings in the street and violence in homes, he said. Of course, that wasn't the case.

In fact, according to Stephenson, it caused the crime rate in the city to plunge.

Kennesaw Historical Society president Robert Jones said following the law's passage, the crime rate dropped 89 percent in the city, compared to the modest 10 percent drop statewide.

We might still have a few murders but there would be fewer and at least every victim would have the possibility of defending themselves.

Gun safety would be greatly enhanced if Congress were to pass a law that only white people could own them.

A Detroit mother of two protected her family with a Hi-Point carbine (what some are calling an “assault rifle”) when she opened fire on three teens, one armed with a handgun, who kicked in her door during a home invasion Monday night.

Detroit Homeowners Have Fatally Shot 7 Intruders In Past 7 Weeks
The citizens of Detroit are very tired of being bullied by these thugs, for lack of a better word, Moreno said. They’re defending themselves and their property and they have every right to do so.
Two of the fatal shootings have been carried out by women.

Detroit has typically had a high rate of violent crime, with a number of murders that matched New York City’s last year despite being less than a tenth the size. Since Police Chief James Craig took over the department last year, he’s touted a dropping crime rate. In the first three months of 2014, the city’s property and violent crime rates are down overall compared to 2013. With 45 homicides this year to date, the murder rate is down 34 percent.

Detroit had 15 justified homicides last year.

We’ve been very supportive of citizens that are arming themselves, said Moreno. They are law-abiding citizens. These are the ones who are in their domain and inside their homes, and if you can’t have peace at home, where can you?

Oh. I must have forgot to mention that I'm white and my family moved out of Detroit like 40 years ago when it went the way of South Africa and Rhodesia.
But thanks for wasting your time Googling and pasting that crap aid didn't read. I'm sure it's germane to whatever convoluted point you're trying to make.

But it is amazing that you keep coming back.

Personally I don't care about your color. We all live in this world together. We all deserve the same rights.
Evil is not race exclusive.
But it does exist.
