Is it racist and sexist to doubt the qualifications of Susan Rice?

Ohio Representative Marcia Fudge may be the newly-elected chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, but there is nothing new about her defense of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice.

No, just vindictive.

Susan Rice hasn't even been nominated and teabaggers are whining she shouldn't be.

Teabaggers are claiming "she lied".

Shouldn't we wait untill she is actually considered or appointed or even has the job.

Seems there was another black woman with the same last name who repeatedly lied to the American people and some teabaggers wanted her to run for president.

Speaking last week before the National Association of Black Journalists, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice said, "Let us be very clear about why we went to war against Saddam Hussein. Saddam Hussein's regime posed a threat to the security of the United States and the world. This was a regime that had pursued, had used, and possessed weapons of mass destruction." Rice did not dare tread upon the issues that were not clear. Her cocksure posture could not hide the fact that she made no other mention of weapons of mass destruction in her prepared remarks. The United States has yet to find any after nearly five months of war and occupation. This was after a war buildup where Bush officials boasted they were certain where the weapons were.

Just as significant is that there was not a single reference in her set speech about Saddam trying to acquire nuclear weapons. Before the war, Rice said, "we don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud." The scary vision of mushroom clouds was repeated by Bush and General Tommy Franks, head of Central Command. Vice President Dick Cheney declared Saddam to be a "mortal threat" on his way to "nuclear blackmail."

The "Draft Condi" (or "Draft Rice") movement was a grassroots effort to draft United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to run for President of the United States in the 2008 U.S. election.

In February 2007, Rice finished fourth in a Zogby poll of likely Republican primary voters.

In May 2007, the Des Moines Register found that among Republicans "one-half of likely participants in the party’s caucuses would like to see Rice, the U.S. secretary of state, campaign for president", a greater portion than for Fred Thompson or Newt Gingrich.

Dick Morris,a former Clinton adviser, published book in October 2005 entitled "Condi Vs. Hillary: The Next Great Presidential Race" in which he outlined the reasons why Rice would be the best candidate to keep Hillary Clinton from winning the presidential election in 2008.

Morris was not the only prominent figure who endorsed, or hinted at endorsing, Rice in a possible presidential bid. The website RunRice2008 has compiled a list of nationally and internationally influential figures who have supported the idea of Rice running for president. The list included:
United States First Lady Laura Bush.
Former White House Spokesman Scott McClellan.
Former Australian Prime Minister John Howard.
Radio host and political commentator Rush Limbaugh.
British Secretary of State for Justice, Jack Straw.
Fox News anchor Sean Hannity.
Fred Barnes (Talk show host and Weekly Standard editor).
US Sen. Sam Brownback.
US Rep. Kay Granger.
John Blackburn (former dean of the University of Alabama).
Steve Sviggum (Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives).
Dennis Miller (talk show host and political commentator).

Teabaggers wanted a "proven" liar running, just like Romney.

It is when the right-wingers and tea-baggers doubt her. Their record of racist rhetoric towards President Obama, Eric Holder and other African Americans in his Administration show a pattern that is continued with Ambassador Rice. But patriotic Americans will be right here to defend her and beat them back to clear the path for her to be our next Secretary of State.

Susie Rice has all of the qualification's to be a democrat politician. She can lie with the best of them, has no shame or conscience and is well adapt at parroting the party line. Joe Stalin and Adolph Hitler would have killed to have such a remarkable woman in their regimes too.

Well,I would assume it is racist to criticize the person who may well be nominated for ANOTHER job for which she will be unqualified because it's more popular to call someone racist for a considered comment than it is to refute said comment. Racist is a word that no longer has any meaning to me as it has been used as a bludgeon so much and so often against those who DARE to criticize a minority, legitimately, that one expects to be called racist merely for stating the obvious. The woman told one too many lies re Benghazi to be considered for ANY public post. Using the term racist as a bludgeon instead of knowledgeable discourse has harmed no one as much as it has harmed the minorities.
It requires a real loser to resort to calling people names for stating facts that stand up under scrutiny. And this Rice and her boss, Our Dear Leader do not do well in the reliability department. 4143

Rice under fire from left as Kerry's name won't go away

By Domenico Montanaro, NBC News Deputy Political Editor

It’s not just Benghazi anymore.

One of the most controversial energy projects in the nation also has become a flash point in the drama surrounding who may become the next secretary of state – and it’s coming from the left instead of the right.

Back on Nov. 28,“OnEarth,” published by the Natural Resources Defense Council, dug into U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice’s financial disclosures and found that she and her husband have a stake in TransCanada, the company pushing for the Keystone XL Pipeline to be built.

Let's face it, if you are white, or near-white, you are a racist. Bringing up the fact that Rice just plain lied and she is way out of her league only proves it.

One of the "privileged" few who has been provided government power via family affiliation - basically an aristocrat - who is worth tens of millions of dollars even though she apparently has put no product on the market or run any business that has but instead has huge chunks invested in Big Oil.......

......this person is the new poster-victim of the left. Lol.

[sigh] I think I know what her "victim-status" would be if she was appointed by a Republican president. I know I know.[sigh again]

Lol, no wonder they have to talk about race and gender regarding her - or anything involving the issues this country faces but what is glaringly true is that they offer nothing but junk and chaos.

Americans are standing by and justifying the leftist's means to their end which is NOTHING more than centralizing power and amassing as much of the nation's wealth as they can but also obliterating their opposition. That's it. That's all they are using policy and the machine of government to do.

Rice is just another example of this. They play the tactics of race and gender to attack public discourse. It's sinister to think that freedom of thought is included in the concept of the "opposition" that they must destroy. It's why they dole out the race/gender issues - to marginalize and minimize meaning and truth.

A better question would be.When will any Republican be able to question the qualifications of any minority candidate that Obama nominates without the left leaning Obamabots calling them a racist, hater or bigot?

I agree. Obama WON. If Obama wants Amb Rice, Snooky, or Paris Hilton to be Sec of State so be it.

America must learn to settle for less at home and accept our reduced status on the World stage. That was the choice voting majority made last month.

Hilary Clinton prefers that John Kerry succeed her as Secretary of State over Susan Rice. So its official, so Hilary Clinton is a sexist and a racist.

Is it racist that 95%+ of blacks voted for Obama?
Probably - and then they are also largely brain dead idiots. You disagree? Move to a Black neighborhood. Even the blacks don't want to live there. Why? Crime, filth and black people.
It must therefore also not be racist if you are White and don't support Rice, who is a lying political hack. Who gives a healthy fluck about Marci Fudge-Packer's opinion. She is more of a racist pig than anyone she accuses.
Anybody the POS president nominates is likely either a criminal or incompetent.
Just say no to your congressional representative.

Why do folks think Susan Rice lied? She was but a parrot repeating the misinformation fed to her by the corrupt Obama administration. To blame her is to miss the target entirely.

Sad how the warmonger is now railing against alleged wmds in Syria. Must be looking for a pretext to...

Not a dime's worth of difference. Except Bush was far less reckless. How many nations in the Moslem world has Obama screwed over already?

And former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her husband have participated in at least eight IPOs. One of those came in 2008, from Visa, just as a troublesome piece of legislation that would have hurt credit card companies, began making its way through the House. Undisturbed by a potential conflict of interest the Pelosis purchased 5,000 shares of Visa at the initial price of $44 dollars. Two days later it was trading at $64. The credit card legislation never made it to the floor of the House.

Congresswoman Pelosi also declined our request for an interview, but agreed to call on us if we attended a news conference.

Near white. Indeed. He is as pasty looking as Michsel Jackson. No way his real father was a Kenyan. It takes either centuries of interbreeding or a hyperbolic chamber to get that pallid sickly look of his.
