Prices are already climbing fast from what is going on in Russia and what is going on in Iraq and the bone-heads in D.C. are still trying to bend the people of America over any way they can... Plus they are trying to do the very same thing with a carbon tax but they want to slip that on the higher gas prices and then just a little more taxes to go into their pockets.. Do you really think that they will fix the roads with that new tax that they are trying to impose on us ???!!!!!!!

The government cannot give anything out without taking 3 times the amount they need from someone eltse. The only way America will ever by saved is if we all come together. The govt has fucked up everything sense 9/11 and it's is because we the people have allowed them too. All of our tax money is going to scumbags and welfare leaches so they can afford to live and not work. Back in the day you worked or starved very simple. Can't feed um don't breed um!

Elect Rick Perry and he will enter a 'public-private' partnership and build toll roads. The private part will build the road and make a profit, the public part will read your license plate compute the toll and bill you (to be remitted to the private part)
That will insure that the money goes directly to the investor leaches so they can afford to live it up and not work.
NO NEW TAXES.
note: I don't use Perry's toll roads, the tolls are high and I don't like a record of where and when I'm on them.

Well since the liberal congress in one of its two major acts when they controlled both houses passed the Stimulus that Obama promised was for roads and shovel ready jobs, the left has their share. The next trillion goes to the roads and bridges of the red
states.........

The nationwide average per gallon is $3.67 and getting higher due to obamas incompetence with his Middle east "policy" and these clowns want to raise it $.12?Let me guess. These guys are not up for reelection are they?Thats why you dont here anybody in the House of Reps talking about it.The House has everybody up for reelection as required by the Constitution. The U.S.Senate only has 33(or 1/3rd)Senators at a time up for election so those not campaigning for reelection dont have to explain themselves to the voters.

It's obviously time to vote out every incumbent that has allowed our govt. to grow into this Frankenstein monster.

at obummers bidding they look to up taxes even more after collecting a new record almost 2 trillion in taxes since Oct 1 fiscal start. of course they've spent 2,7 trillion so they need to make the difference up on a commodity every citizen has to buy. that's why their label has been 'tax and spend' dem and rino parties.

What are the feds doing with their current highway revenues.

I keep on hearing "crumbling infrastructure". But how did it crumble. Many local and federal agencies do not maintain squat. They would rather replace or redo but not repair. But it is the lack REPAIRS, not new road construction that is most of the problem. If they cannot maintain the current roads how will they maintain new roads. I'd make them submit MAINTENANCE and repair programs first-NOT new projects.

They want the American driver priced into oblivion forcing them to live near usable public transportation in which they would control.
