<quoted text>Simple math got you confused?
Obama added over $5 trillion to the debt in just 4 YEARS! And it is STILL climbing!!!!!!
W added to the debt $3.3 trillion in 8 years. Likely will be half of Odumbo's debt added.
Clinton credited with highest tax revenue and thus lower debt but not a zero debt or "surplus" because we still had debt. So Odumbo beat him too!
Bush Sr.$1 trillion in debt.
Reagan $1.4 trillion in debt.
Jimmy Carter $253 billion in debt.
Ford $181 billion in debt.
Nixon $70 billion in debt.
Johnson $35 billion in debt.
Kennedy $11 billion in debt.
Eisenhower $16 billion in debt.
Truman $3 billion
FDR $196 billion in debt over 3 terms and WWII.
Hoover $5 billion in debt.
Coolidge $6 billion surplus and NO DEBT.
Harding $2 billion surplus no debt
Wilson $21 billion in debt due to WW I
all previous to this were no debt presidents.
Do I need to do the math, simpleton? Odumbo has ammassed more debt than ALL presidents combined before him!!!
Clintons presidency featured the first budgets that were balanced since LBJ. He left W. a budgetary surplus which W had to give away, if he had applied the surplus against the debt, we wouldn't be having this discussion.
Bush left trillions in war debt 'off the books' which is a fraud no matter how you look at it.
----------
Last GOP balanced budget Ike...a moderate Republican
----------
Carter hands Reagan $250 billion in additional debt over 4 years. Reagan adds $1.4 Trillion thus Reagan accumulated debt at a rate that was 3x Carters. The increase in the rate of accumulated debt from the Clinton to the W. is beyond calculation
----------
Unless you are so biased that your blind or a pathological liar, you'll have no trouble concluding that from 1960 on the Democrats have been by far more debt free and responsible with budgets that the GOP has

ooooo, another liberal artist trying to push the idea that a 17% government shutdown devastates the American economy! Hahahaha.
Perhaps you might consider the real reason. The implimentation of the ACA. Or it's dismal failure as well as the real numbers coming to light. Hahahahaha How the middle class are getting boned by the ACA and they are pulling stock to pay for penalties and the premiums? Hahahahaha

Sure, as long as you turn a blind eye to the largest tax increases that take place under Democrats while still adding debt. Mind you, the Dems always grow government and thus more revenue needed to fund government and yet they never want to shrink government. Tax and grow. Tax and grow.

W. added, two wars, homeland security and a big drug benefit...coupled with an elephantine tax cut for his weathly pals...tell me how that amounted to either being responsible, or to shrinking gov't?
In addition we were talking about balancing budgets so at times tax hikes are required... like it or not

Spending cuts are good...like it or not.
A cut in spending means to shrink government and libbies can't have that. It costs them power and votes!
BTW, W's actions spawned the Tea Party movement. His spending like a drunken sailor and all.
Now we have an adminstration spending like drunken pirates.

What do you think of the fact in July Boehner struck a deal with Reid.$70 million in additional spending cuts in exchange for a clean spending and debt limit bills. Reid accepted Boehner's offer.
The Speaker went back to the house and had to tell Reid the deal was off.
The tea's embracing their inner Don Quixote, insisted on defunding ACA..

No you will get neither the reductions nor the defunding...
Your heroes are totally unproductive. The only thing you all have done so far is damage the GOP...

No links for all this BS? Let me help, starting with ?Reagan, who tripled the national debt - 996 million when he came into office - 2.8 trillion when he left;

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/commandingheights/sha...

"The national debt tripled from one to three trillion dollars during the Reagan Years. The President and conservatives in Congress cried for a balanced budget amendment, but neither branch had the discipline to propose or enact a balanced budget. The growth that Americans enjoyed during the 1980s came at a huge price for the generations to follow."

http://www.ushistory.org/us/59b.asp

I could go on dissecting your BS numbers, which are so easily seen as being pulled from...... you know where, right big boy?

Try again - and with real proof!

I'll be glad to tell you how:
The GOPers and their media affiliates have fabricated a whole alternative knowledge system or alternate reality with its own facts, its own history and its own laws of economics. Outside the system, President Obama - whatever his policy errors - is a figure of imposing intellect and dignity. Within the system, he’s a pitiful nothing, unable to speak without a teleprompter, an affirmative-action phony doomed to inevitable defeat...We used to say “You’re entitled to your own opinion, but not to your own facts. Now we are all entitled to our own facts, and conservative media use this right to immerse their audience in a total environment of pseudo-facts and pretend information. The GOP has detached from reality and the real world!

We wonder how someone as hapless as John Boehner could be minority leader; he’s someone who made a career as a movement conservative apparatchik. In his world, following orders and getting rewarded for his obedience was what it was all about; he’s like a fish out of water to find that the rules have changed with the T-bags.

Boehner is the Speaker of the House, not the minority leader or the majority leader. the republican party has the majority in the house...

NEWBURYPORT — Pat Vaillancourt went on a trip last week that was intended to showcase some of America’s greatest treasures. Instead, the Salisbury resident said she and others on her tour bus witnessed an ugly spectacle that made her embarrassed, angry and heartbroken for her country. Vaillancourt was one of thousands of people who found themselves in a national park as the federal government shutdown went into effect on Oct. 1. For many hours her tour group, which included senior citizen visitors from Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States, were locked in a Yellowstone National Park hotel under armed guard. The tourists were treated harshly by armed park employees, she said, so much so that some of the foreign tourists with limited English skills thought they were under arrest. When finally allowed to leave, the bus was not allowed to halt at all along the 2.5-hour trip out of the park, not even to stop at private bathrooms that were open along the route.“We’ve become a country of fear, guns and control,” said Vaillancourt, who grew up in Lawrence.“It was like they brought out the armed forces. Nobody was saying,‘we’re sorry,’ it was all like —” as she clenched her fist and banged it against her forearm.- See more at: http://www.newburyportnews.com/local/x1442580...

yeah, that is what happens when people shut down the gov't for their partisan purposes....i'm sure they were real gestapo like...more likely the tourists were whiney as most tourists feeling they should be able to do whatever they want...
