Since Topix has decided to post topics that are as newsworthy as stains on a trashcan, I'll post my suggestions here.

Any sane people left in the country should be deciding where they are on the map in relation to the boundaries in the coming Civil War. For now, it's safe to assume that the west coast and the east coast are not very much in an alliance. More likely, they're only interested in the other to take forces away from their own front. Those east of the Mississippi but not in a coastal state are probably going to be in the areas of greatest conflict. I'm predicting that the Great Lakes region will be the center of most coming land battles in the idiot civil war.

Plan as you will.. This all was set in motion when they decided that homosexuals were more important than the rest of the public. Have a ball. You know those in charge will.

There's not going to be a civil war - at least not in a way that is similar to the first civil war. The military (the vast majority of it) supports President Trump and the view of the scope and power of government held primarily by Conservative Republicans. This is one reason incidentally, that Obama tried to purge the military of all of it's top level officers - anyone who would oppose a progressive globalist crack-down on our Free Republic...Obama was looking towards the future when Progressives could overthrow America and enslave her people.

In addition to the above, 999 out of every 1000 gun owners in America, despise progressive democrats.

And if you look at the map for this last election, the entire country has gone RED...there's just a little bit of blue speckeled here and there - mostly on the east and west coastal fringes.

There will be NO progressive globalist democrat utopia.

Some people just like to hear themselves talk. How can a bunch of week wrested weenies that hate guns and are scared of guns start a civil war.

I would love to have President Trump nominate another Supreme Court Justice, but I will pray Justice Ginsburg get well soon.

without the House majority Trump and the GOP are a rudderless ship, we are actually watching the death of right wing extremism in the US. Dems polled 12 million more votes than Truymps gang in the mid-terms but Republican gerrymandering and voter suppression were a major barrier. That won't occur next time around.

Sounds a lot like the first Civil War. The problem here is that the east and west coast represents the majority of the industrial centers. Fortunately for conservatives, the less populated states have a very large portion of the military bases and their industry is more spread out and not vulnerable to air attack.

I'd expect a Northeast attempt at a land grab in Appalachia for the coal and in the Great Lakes for the industry and manpower. I also expect them to declare that war based on that target goal and the strategic element of surprise. If they succeed at that and the conquest of the Capital, they would probably win. Too much of the west coast would join up on their side after that. All the Navy bases are on the coasts too. If it went nuclear, it wouldn't matter much who won.

No, the real difference here is that the underlying economics isn't the same. There's no urban industry vs. cotton farming/slavery here. It's more about actual ideology and to hell with what the current Constitution is about.

The conservative states resemble the south more because of their status-quo ideals. The liberals represent the north more because of their manpower and industry, but wars happen much faster these days so the outcome is not as likely to be the same.

Both side are playing chicken. We'll see who panics first. Personally, I have no stake in this. I just don't want to be pulled into it......but the days of solving the problem are pretty much past.

The progressive globalist democrats are trying to divide the nation - Obama spent 8 years trying and he did a lot of damage. The leftists are unlikely to manage to start a civil war, but they are doing enormous damage to our culture, our sovereignty, our security as a nation and a free people, as well as to our Constitutional Republic (including to the integrity of the rule of law).

The progressive globalist democrats are indeed capable of destroying this country. They're well on their way in fact, and the American people just handed them a means to keep doing enormous damage.

There will be no winners. The American people get the government they deserve - and now they're stuck with incompetent crooks like Nancy Pelosi for at least another 2 years. All will suffer - not just those opposed to progressive globalism.

I keep reading this brainless leftwing rhetoric from the progressives. Name one policy from President Trump that is an example of "right wing extremism"

Were our Founding Fathers right wing extremists? No, they weren't.

The extremists are on the left. Anything short of upholding our Constitution is an example of extremism. People like Ruth Bator Ginsburg are the extremists.

She should have been impeached a long time ago...she once told a burgeoning new government in one of the African countries not to model their constitution after the US Constitution...she said that the US Constitution was "outdated." This is the same document, her only function is to UPHOLD. She swore an oath to uphold a document she does not believe in or support. That is a big problem, and only and insane nation were continue to tolerate her presence on the court.

Progressive democrats are a cancer. Ultimately, as well all know, there are no winners when cancer takes hold...not even the cancer itself.

Obama was a token. Period. He posed for the camera and his handlers just convinced him that his gay makover poses were cool. They wanted no divergence from the Hillary Foundation plan and he didn't ask questions..

I disagree that Obozo the clown number 44 was a token. And I can give you countless examples. His ambitions were simply in parallel with Hillary's, and so that's why they aligned later on...after he defeated her for the nomination...and in spite of it being Hillary who started the birther movement.

And a birther movement that still has some compelling facts behind it. Like Obama's Kenyan grandmother for example...she was quoted as stating that she remembers when Obama was born...in a hospital in Kenya... They shut her up quick, and she was never seen nor heard from again.

Did Judge Kavanaugh try to forcibly restrain her and she was hurt trying to escape before he offended again?

Shouldn't even have let that sort of drunken riff-raff into the building.

The jobs never happened. You just have to accept the phantom zone where evil Kriptonians and the unemployed disappear to through the magic of pivot tables.

Corporations and financiers are not 'grabbing coal' they are investing in clean renewable energy even though republicans are calling anthropogenic climate change a hoax. The jokes on them and their science denying religious fantasists. Extreme Conservatism is dying out in America year by year, you just dont have the numbers anymore to win fairly and that's why even these holier than thou hypocrites have become criminals. The truth wins eventually and you bigots wouldnt recognize truth if you fell over it

Hoo boy! Forget about the birthers. Obama didn't want Hillary as his secretary of state. They both still remembered the nasty primary they fought in. She was given the job just like she was given the N.Y. senator job, all to generate false credentials for her foundation's purchase of the presidency.
