Add millions of people to welfare rolls and unemployment and raise the minimum wage. Brilliant! We can all party like it's 1929.

Overwhelm the system, crash it and then remake it as the communist/socialist state utopia they want and hasn't work anywhere it's been tried. If they get what they want look forward to exactly what has happened in the past except much worse.

The higher the minimum wage goes, the fewer employees will be working. Immigration laws are on the books, hopefully, when Napolitano is out of her position, we'll be upholding those laws.

Raising the minimum wage during the bleak economic period will cause some businesses to scale back on filling vacant positions or just eliminate jobs altogether. This would be a clearly stupid move.

If the Democrats want the minimum wage to increase while also decreasing unemployment simply remove illegal aliens from the work force. When the supply of cheap labor decreases wages will increase. The laws are in place they just need to be enforced.

What good is a minimum wage when businesses can import cheaper, under-the-table labor that Democrats seek to keep in the country?
