Is there anyone, besides liberals, who feels that illegal immigrants shouldn't be incarcerated? We must do everything we can to protect our country. It should be offensive to all Americans when the UN calls US immigration policy xenophobic and racist, because we won't allow illegal immigration.

What a joke. My grandparents followed the immigration rules. Let current immigrants do the same.

We don't need the poor, the downtrodden, the sick.

We already have enough of them.

First of all, the US takes in more immigrants LEGALLY than any other country in the world. There are limits to the amount of resources our country has to support it's LEGAL citizens and residents. We cannot support every person on earth wishing for a better life...there simply isn't enough room - not to mention food, housing, jobs, medical services, etc. to support all of these people. That's why there are limits to the number of people able to immigrate to this country legally each year.

Do I feel sorry for those living in poverty in other countries? Sure, I do! Do I consider myself blessed to have been born a citizen of this great country? Of course I do! Do I have enough common sense to know that our taxpaying citizens cannot support every downtrodden citizen on this planet? You bet!

To compare these detainment centers to those of the Nazis used during the Haulocost is an insult to the Jews who died in those concentration camps. These illegal immigrants are not used as slave labor and left to starve without medical attention until they drop dead or are gassed in the chamber. They are given three square meals per day and receive medical attention all at the taxpayer's expense.

Our government is not required to supply any of this to those breaking our laws and trying to bypass legal immigration procedurs. They should be shipped back to the border, IMMEDIATELY and save us all the expense of supporting their arses!

Gee, questions about right and wrong coming from the Left? The very same people that brought us "Who's to say what's right and wrong?" and the values abdication movement? Too funny.

I don't get what is wrong with you people in favor of something like this. How can you condone "our" government holding people whose only crime is being here illegally? Not only is this disgusting, but it is also highly disturbing. Those people should at the very least be allowed an attorney. I am seeing more and more of Hitler's Germany in this country. Just wait, this is the first step, wait until you are locked away somewhere for some infraction with no right to a lawyer. This is just the tip of the iceberg, if our government gets by with this with non-Americans, it is only a matter of time before we ourselves are subjected to it. Flame away.

We have no obligation to give illegal immigrants from other countries,
Constitutional rights. There are still Cuban thugs and mental patients
from the Mariel Boatlift in our detention centers. And of course Castro
refuses to take them back because they are undesirable aliens.

"2,746 Cubans were considered serious or violent criminals under
U.S. law and therefore were denied citizenship." That was in 1980.

Please keep them locked up. Or send them to Gitmo, cut a hole in
the fence and push them back into Castro's arms. Don't let them out.

Then those so-called thugs and violent offenders need to have a trial and be sent to prison or sent back to their country of origin. I don't care what anybody says, we may not have a legal obligation to these people, but we sure have a moral one. It is unconscionable to indefinitely lock anybody up without a trial.

No matter what country your from?-- if you slipped into America illegally you should go home.

All taxpayers who are concerned with political corruption, radical open border entities, sham laws, immigrant slavery, illegal immigration, sanctuary states and cities, taxpayer costs and the special interest lobbyists should join the growing ranks of www.judicialwatch.org/

Castro released them from his prisons in 1980 and they came to the US
under amnesty. They are now in our prisons Castro won't let them back into Cuba because he considers them undesirables. We have a moral obligation
to keep them locked away from the rest of society. There are some very
evil people in the US who are here illegally and need to be in prison..
If you want them in Sauk Centre, I have no problem with that.

Please read the posts before you respond. Cuba won't take thier undesirables back. They are dangerous. Should we just dump them in the ocean? Or do you want to take some of them into your home?

I remember talking with a Police Officer who fought with these Cuban thugs
when they rioted in the Anoka County Jail years ago. These Cubans were
moved from jail to jail because they were rapists and murderers and
nobody wanted them in their jail. They rioted, breaking furniture, smashing
things and assaulting Corrections Officers. It was a full scale riot that ended
with injuries and much property damage. Their reason for rioting?
They were demanding their rights- as illegal, criminal thugs, I guess.

Back in the day countries would shoot invaders. Today we have to make them comfortable.
