Many of the dems who lost were in gerrmandered districts. Mary Jo Kilroy is a perfect example.
The only way a democrat can win a district that's gerrymanderd for a republican is if there's massive turnout of the democratic vote like there was for Obama's election.
So, this should come as no surprise.

Gerrymandered? Nonsense. The same voters that voted for the Dems in 06 and 08, voted Gop this time...
Now's not the time to make excuses.
