We are going to have Al Gore running against Fred Thompson. A Tennessee Duel. By next fall the public will be fed up on candidates that are running now.

Pelosi remarked that the bills' call for a withdrawal timetable was also a forceful incentive for the Iraqis to begin fighting their own war. Huh?

The Iraqi people were hung from chains, electrocuted and entire villages slaughtered under hussein. I am certain many are grateful for his demise, but they did not call for war, saddam did.

A few expatriated Iraqis across the world who had the freedom to plot and dream plus one obsessed anti-saddam American president versus the iraqi leader, that's who delivered this war to the common iraqis' doorstep.

The terror that was saddam held the extremists at bay. That removed, the extremist thrives. Saddam brutally kept peace on the streets, not the iraqi people. They look now to the liberators for what saddam provided, security. They are not accustomed to doing it themselves.

Why the bush realm nor pelosi can fathom even this simple observation is perhaps a glimpse of thei skills in global diplomacy.

If that happens it could be good. That will insure a victory for the Republicans.

"We have to give this plan time to wop bop a loo bop, a wop bam boom, ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang," President Bush may as well have said. "May God [help/bless/save] the United States of America."
