Jesus...

Next thing you know, Sarah Palin will be president of MENSA. Or, Michael Vick will take on the role of spokesperson for PETA.

Well, Boehner is putting that nitwit Michelle Bachmann on the Defense Appropriations Committee where she'll be privvy to lots of Top Secret stuff, and we've seen how dense and irresponsible she is. We're not likely to be getting the services of the best and brightest out of a Boehner Congress.

Sometimes party politics needs to be set aside when one evaluates a politicians performance...

Too often that evaluation seems to take on an almost NFL blindness when we talk about Congress...

"Niners!"....respond with "Raiders!"...

My team against your team sort of thing...

20 Plus years in Congress and Wally has what?...two lower level posts?...

Subcommitee on Ways & Means...and Trade?...

Is it that Wally does not promote himself enough?...

Is it that Wally cares about what his big donation money guys want only?...Trade in the area of Rice, Nuts, and what not?...

Is his job to seek Commitee Chair positions where he can serve the interests of the most people in his district?...not just a few?...

Is it that the powers that be think Wally is a sub par player who needs to stay on the bench more often?...

Can one stop long enough and think this out without running to the "Niners" vs. "Raiders" argument?...

Another question...would the Niners be the Republicans and the Raiders the Democrats?...

Just putting it out there...

"Ha Ha."?!?!

We're talking about REAL life and REAL issues, and YOU come with "Ha Ha."? We're talking about politics and you're over there worried about which girl's hair you're gonna pull out there on the monkey bars...

So far, the Republican House has given us quite a bit of entertainment: Boehner skipping out on reading the Constitution in order to wrangle about Birthers; new Republican members voting without being sworn in cause they were out raising money; skipping the nasty bits of the Constitution (3/5 of a person?); missing Article Four because the pages stuck together; nobody left in the Chamber for the reading of the same.

When it comes to political theater, this is vaudeville.

NO, you guys are talking about how you can't stand that your party was voted out of power IN CONGRESS; "how could they do such a thing to us; we all know the only one's with any brains are the liberal elitistS"?

You're precisely the poster boy for the kind of person who would think that Michelle Bachman is smart, Brian. And, of course, compared to you, she is, even though she's completely idiotic on almost any subject she addresses. How dimwitted must a person be to spend years on a site like this, laughing his ass off, as though that was the cleverest thing he ever thought to say, a riposte you seem to think is new each time you type it. But then, for guys like you, George Bush was a brilliant stateman, Dan Quayle was a great speller, and Sarah Palin is a political philosopher. Without the dummies, some of these right wing loons would have no forum at all. Hell, Bill O'Reilly doesn't even understand how the tides work, and Glenn Beck is almost certifiably nuts, but so long as there are lots of underachieving Brians in the world, the dim and the nutty will not lack for mindless followers. Mussolini didn't, either, nor did Jim Jones.

"You guys"? What the hell are you talking about (again!) Matthews?!?! Obviously, no one was talking TO you or ABOUT you...

Like most things that encompass you and your being, your post is irrelevant.

No one's shocked, though.

It's funny...by the time Brian Jones looks up all of those multi-syllabic words, Barack Obama will be in his second term as President.

Compared to an absolute moron like you jaime, Bachman is a goddess!

And you girly boy, you are the poster girl for the sissy liberal.

Of special interest are the many values about which the modern liberal mind is not passionate: his agenda does not insist that the individual is the ultimate economic, social and political unit; it does not idealize individual liberty and the structure of law and order essential to it; it does not defend the basic rights of property and contract; it does not aspire to ideals of authentic autonomy and mutuality; it does not preach an ethic of self-reliance and self-determination; it does not praise courage, forbearance or resilience; it does not celebrate the ethics of consent or the blessings of voluntary cooperation. It does not advocate moral rectitude or understand the critical role of morality in human relating. The liberal agenda does not comprehend an identity of competence, appreciate its importance, or analyze the developmental conditions and social institutions that promote its achievement. The liberal agenda does not understand or recognize personal sovereignty or impose strict limits on coercion by the state. It does not celebrate the genuine altruism of private charity. It does not learn history’s lessons on the evils of collectivism.

Good lord = Pure Stupid.
Under the creed of modern liberalism, the individual citizen is not called to maturity but is instead invited to begin a second childhood.

OUCH! You REALLY got me there, BJ! Quite the stinger!

You don't find it the least bit curious that you copied and pasted a quote criticizing liberal-maturity AFTER your response to my post was basically, "Good Lord, you're stupid"???!?!?!?!

Keep on trying there, lil' guy! One day! One day, you'll get 'em!!!

Now this is rather curious. Let's take it a part line by line.

Individuals as primary economic unit. An economy of one? Where does that exist anyplace in the world?

Idealize individual liberty. I'm sure that makes Brian a card carrying member of the ACLU.

Basic rights of property. Yes, property does have rights. The right to not be exploited for selfish gain to the detriment of others.

Authentic autonomy. I don't think we live in a world of homesteaders anymore.

Self-reliance and self-determination. That's why we militarilly intervene in so many different countries around the world?

Morality. I'm sure this has much to do with who you sleep with, and certainly not the biblical value of egalitarianism.

Consent. I'm sure that makes Brian pro-choice.

Competent social institutions. You mean off shore drilling and BP?

Coercion by the State. You mean water boarding?

Altruism of private charity. How many non-profits are run by Conservatives?

The evils of collectivism. Stalin died 60 years ago. Have you heard the news?

Good spin there allan, but it don't change the facts that I posted from a renowned Doctor of the Psycho liberal behavior! Lyle H. Rossiter, Jr., M.D.
Face it allan, he's pegged the mental disorder of liberalism to a tee in his research and publications.

And as for stallin dying 60 years ago? His legacy continues… thanks so called "progressive" liberals!!!
Progressive??? Give me a break!!!
