Vote Brown if you're poor or disabled and hope to still have a check in your mailbox.

Vote Whitman if you want severe cuts to welfare, elderly, education & increased taxes to the small businessman struggling to give some jobs to the lower class paycheck to paycheck person. Meg will slash government out of our lives ( which sounds heavenly.....even i think so ) but I want ALL those agencies cut not just a few.

Why won't these politicians ever do anything about the fraud in government and by welfare & low income housing persons?

"Vote Whitman if you want severe cuts to welfare, elderly, education & increased taxes to the small businessman struggling to give some jobs to the lower class paycheck to paycheck person."
.
lIES like the above are another reason I stopped being a liberal. They can not argue with facts or reason so they make up stories to make their opponents seem evil.
.
On the one hand this person predicts "severe cuts to welfare, elderly, education" and in the same sentence pretends taxes will be raised! Are you the Jerry Brown supporter that called Whitman a W hore?
.
The Governor can not raise taxes sweetie. Only your democrats in the legislature can pass such a law. The Governor can not cut your welfare check blah blah blah, the legislature, controlled by the democrats can, but not the Governor. THAT'S A FACT.
.
This is the tactic of liberal democrats as the election gets closer.

Does look like someone actually knows who the real "troll" is; but you might as well bark at the moon. The problem isn't that there isn't enough money for the poor it is that those who pretend to be advocates for them are stealing all of it. The biggest thief and lier in the State is personafide by some on this forum. Void of any reality because they don't have to live it, they make their living by pretending they care about the poor while sucking every dollar out of the State they can for their own little tiny selves.

I'm not for either candidate. I won't return my absentee ballot this year. I certainly didn't call Meg Whitman that "W" word. I don't think she is for the middle class wage earner at all who has lost more and more of the piece of the American Dream. We are the folks who are having our homes foreclosed upon. I'm not dependent on a welfare check ( yet anyway ). Still have head just above water if I stretch my neck and keep treading water. I work 70 hours per week and don't want only the 'rich' to be afforded tax breaks. I'm willing to pay my share for education and veterans services. I'm tired of going to the grocery store and leaving with 1/3 full of grocery cart while a welfare recipient drinks cases of named brand soda pop etc etc while I'll slap a bologna sandwich together 3 days a week and tuna the other 4 days.

I've got just as much that I don't care for on Jerry Brown. I can't believe there wouldn't be some other politician who'd throw their hat into the ring. Instead we have this recycled politician from years past to choose? No thanks. Face it each party always has 'their friends' and their own 'personal agendas' and who is left bound, gagged, etc. we the people who continue to struggle in this land of sour milk and imitation honey.

But if Brown is elected state spending will go up even more and so will taxes. Brown will sign every tax increase, Whitman will not.
.
With Brown you will get more liberal judges appointed who will overthrow whatever rights you have left as a worker and taxpayer.
.
With Brown the Public Employee Unions will expect an even larger piece of the "spoils".
.
Whitman isn't my first choice, she is my only choice. She is only margianlly better than Arnold who as we know hasn't had the backbone to stand up the the legislature and veto the overspending.

Doesn't change the fact that they understood what happens when a majority figure out they can vote themselves stuff from the productive.
True , but the majority does not own the majority of the wealth now do they , so if you examine the political system from the point of view of where the wealth is , it's fairly obvious who 's running the show .

Some people just do not live by facts. Meg Whitman not only created jobs for ebay 15,000 jobs during her tenure at Ebay, she did so at another company before that.
Meg Whitman basically stated 2 years on Welfare is enough. She is right. Do you know how much of California Welfare Dollars ends up in other states. Try 69 million. California is a Nanny State. Limit the welfare and you will see our transient lifetime welfare recipients run back to their own states. Perhaps that would leave us some dollars to actually put people to work.
Another Jerry Brown guffaw, Ohio Representative, Michael Oxley who is quoted in the Jerry Brown ad calling Meg Whitman Corrupt, told the Los Angeles times,Oct. 6th 2010 that Jerry Brown took his 2002 words out of context. He Thought it was a very low political move. He also stated Meg Whitman as a citizen at the time had every right to cash in her stock shares, and she was not the only person to do that. Pretty Bad Jerry when your cohorts have to leave the state to find even a hint of a scandal. Should we start looking in your backyard?
Meg Whitman wants to put a stop to all these liberal regulations that keep businesses out of California.
I would like to address the many, many union workers who will probably vote for Jerry Brown, and ask them, are you working now? Do you have a job? Or are you an unemployed Union Member? I would also like to address out of work contractors that are experiencing non-existent contracts as the State Of California, has so many regulations, and fees,
it is near impossible to get anything built. Not to mention some bids go to out of state companies.
The last scandal to surface was Meg Whitman fired her housekeeper of 9 years, who has now hired famed attorney Gloria Allred to represent her. for what I don't know. I think she is looking for a book deal. She Hired the housekeeper from an agency who would have checked her social security, citizenship, etc. Nine years later the housekeeper told Meg Whitman she was really here illegally. Meg Whitman had no other choice but to fire the woman. You can't employ illegal citizens. She could have turned her over to INS, but legally you are not bound to, so she didn't as she didn't want to get the woman in more trouble.
Now that Meg Whitman is running for Govenor, the Jerry Brown Camp and Gloria Allred, has pulled her out of the woodwork, crying, not treated fairly. The woman was paid $23.00 an hour, if she was treated so badly why did she stick around for 9 years. Ridiculous. I will be voting for Meg Whitman, I know people who need jobs not welfare. As far as the capital gains tax, if you have no capital gains, as you can't sell your house, and your upside down anyway, it's really not going to make a difference.
